In a shuttleless loom a housing 11 containing pivoted weft guides 1 for presenting selectable wefts to a gripper shuttle is adjustable transversely of the loom to allow the width of cloth being woven to be varied. Pattern controlled wires 5 pull members 4 into the path of a knife 9 oscillated by cams 8 at the sides of the loom to operate the required guide 1 to move its weft, by means of an eye 2, into the path of the shuttle. The cams 8 slide on transverse driving shaft 17 to allow movement of housing 11 for adjustment of the width of weave.
