Re-igniting burners, heat-storing devices for.-A lamp comprises an acetylene generator 1, trough-shaped reflector 4, multiple-jet burner 5, and a heat-storing device 6 with radial wings, for re-igniting the lamp when it is accidentally extinguished. A safety-lamp, provided with a gas-supplying source and foraminous means for preventing the propagation of flame to the exterior of the lamp, has an automatic re-igniter in the form of a coil arranged centrally wtith regard to a multiple-jet burner. The re-igniter may be of refractory material or nickel-alloy wire, and may be used with an annular flame; or two re-igniters may be arranged at different heights above a single-jet burner. When of refractory material, the reigniter may be integral with the burner.
