Frame rollers; guide pulleys and rollers.-A number of rollers 5 journaled in the frame 1 are disposed to guide the hauling or winding rope round the frame in place of one large sheave. The rollers are spaced equally from a common centre and are preferably equally spaced from one another. The path of the rope is the arc of the circle in which the rollers are set. Each guiding-roller is mounted as shown in Fig. 3, to be individually and readily removable, each roller 5 being mounted on a ball bearing 7 and having side plates 10 with packing-rings 11, and removable covers 12.
