Abstract

1,024,677. Linkwork; machinery frames. VIBRACHOC. April 27, 1964 [April 26, 1963], No 17445/84. Headings F2K and F2X. A movement-restricting mounting means for an object 19, such as a gyro-compass, comprises four similar connecting devices each comprising a plurality of links 3, 4, 10, 11, 7 and 8, end connecting members 1, 2, and intermediate connecting members 9, 12 arranged in the form of three parallelograms in series. End members 1 are connected to parallel base girders 14, 15, Fig. 2 (not shown), and end members 2 are connected to the object 19. Four resilient suspension elements, such as 20, 21, 22 are disposed between the object 19 and crossmembers 17, 18 on a base plate 16. In a modification, a member 28, Fig. 3 (not shown), is supported with respect to a base block 27 by links arranged in series, parallelogram form and including rigid cross-members 32.
