Abstract

1,124,431. Straddle carriers. CLARK EQUIPMENT CO. 19 April, 1967 [14 July, 1966], No. 17932/67. Heading B8H. The load supports 20, 22 of a straddle carrier are secured to the cylinders of four hydraulic rams, the piston-rods of which are suspended from the frame 12, each cylinder being connected by a linkage 130 to an associated control valve mounted on the frame 12 to allow flow of fluid when the cylinder has moved through a predetermined distance, to synchronize the operation of the rams. The hydraulic circuit of the system is described in detail, Fig. 2 (not shown).
