A shelf structure has four vertical corner posts 1, 1a and a central post 5 with connecting diagonal and horizontal stays 2, 2a, horizontal transverse members 3, 3a and rails 4, triangular shelf bearer elements 8, 9 being supported at their corners on the posts by means of pins inserted in holes 12. In a modification, the triangular elements are articulated and are secured to the posts in an articulated manner to allow adjustment of width. Specification 699,224 is referred to.
