Abstract

1,023,866. Cabinets. A. MITTON. June 11, 1964 [March 26, 1963], No. 11870/63. Heading A4B. [Also in Division H1] A cabinet 1 houses a chassis, e.g. for supporting electrical equipment, comprising opposed perforated plates 7 between and to which equipment pairs of supporting bars 15 are detachably secured in any selected location. As shown, the plates 7 are secured to and spaced from the cabinet sides by brackets 9 and bolts 10, further bolts 12 engaging the rear wall 6. The plate perforations 13 are selectively engaged by inwardly directed bolts 20 securing angle brackets 17 to which the bars 15 are clamped by screws 18 and plates 19. In an alternative arrangement (not shown) the plates 7 are secured to a support separate from the cabinet and the latter, in this case being open backed, is fitted over the chassis and secured to the support. A hinged door 2 (or doors) is provided.
