A folding machine, more particularly a buckling folder, is characterized in that one roller of a pair of rollers is adjustable in position. Each end of the roller 1 is rotatably mounted in one end of a lever 2 pivoted at 4. The other end of the lever is spring-pressed against a cam 6 fast with a shaft 8. A gear 10 fixed to the shaft 8, co-operates with a spring- pressed member 11, whereby the shaft is movable step-by-step. A knob 15 on the shaft has a pointer 16 movable over a scale 17.
