Abstract

1,057,603. Printing-machines. DRUCKMASCHINENWERK PLANETA VEB. Sept. 16, 1965, No. 39564/65. Heading B6C. Set-off, preventing.-A sheet transfer drum for a rotary printing machine comprises a sheet metal periphery formed in sieve fashion with holes into selected ones of which are pushed carrier pieces formed each with a protruding element to engage the sheet. The element may be eccentric so as to be adjustable in position by rotating the carrier piece. Several elements may be mounted in line on a carrier piece in strip form which can be inserted in two holes by means of two support parts. The carrier pieces are elastic and are inserted similarly to press studs, the support parts being formed with a groove. The carrier pieces are positioned so as to touch only non-printed parts of the sheet.
