1,020,436. Swash-plate mechanisms; balancing shafts. SOC. D'ETUDES ET D'APPLICATIONS INDUSTRIELLES COMMERCIALES ET IMMOBILIERES " INTER - TECHNIQUE ". Dec. 20, 1963 [Jan. 30, 1963], No. 50329/63. Headings F2K and F2U.. [Also in Division F1] To balance at least part of the inertia forces in a swash-plate mechanism for a motor, pump, or compressor, having pistons 5 in cylinders 4 arranged round a Z-crankshaft 2 with their axes substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis XX thereof, a counterweight 9 is secured to the crankshaft and located within the swash-plate T. The swash-plate T is journalled on crank-pins 7 of the crank-shaft 2 and is formed of two half shells 8, 8a, bolted together, the part-spherical outer surface 11 of the swash-plate bearing in a part-spherical thrustbearing 13 slidably supported by a casing 16. A pin 21, carrying a roller 20, on the swashplate moves in a slot 22 of the casing to prevent rotation of the swash-plate.
