Oct. 22, 1915, [Convention date] Operating clutches.- Clutches 8, 10 for use on mixing and kneading machines are operated through a sliding flange 12 by a stud 15 secured in a lever 18 carrving rollers 20, 21 bearing on a bracket 16. A hand-wheel 25 engaging a screw 17 on the bracket presses the lever along the bracket until the roller 20 strikes an abutment and acts as a fulcrum for further movement of the lever.
