Abstract
An incontinence clamp for the penis comprises a strip of flexible material, two reinforced pads being removably adhered to the strip so that the strip may be wound about the penis with one of the pads compressing the urethra. As described with reference to Fig. 2 (not shown) the pads B, C reinforced with aluminium are provided with barbs so that the pads adhere to a felt or woven layer 4 on the strip. The pad B is particularly shaped to compress the urethra and the strip itself of fabric or plastics material, has barbs at one end on its outer surface which in use secure the free end of the strip.
