Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical and volute springs. - Telescopic spokes, formed of two members D, D' pivoted to the hub and rim parts of the wheel, have extensions D<2> towards the axle-box which bear against the sides of a series of radially-arranged flat plate springs c pivoted at their inner ends between disks on the hub. The outer ends of the springs are formed with lateral projections C<3> movable within radial slots B' on the disks. The usual overlapping side plates with packing are provided.
