Abstract

1,007,124. Shuttering for casting concrete. FUTURA G.m.b.H. Sept. 29, 1961 [Jan. 25, 1961], No. 35023/61. Heading E1S. A shuttering panel comprises reinforcing ribs 1, 3 caps 4 on the ends of which protrude approximately 1 millimetre to abut the ends of the ribs of a similar panel. The edges of the panels are thus maintained separated by a slight gap and. the ends 4 maintain accurate position of the panels when setting up the shuttering. The caps have machined ends. The panels are connected by a U-shaped stirrup 10, Fig. 4 driven through holes in the caps 4. The parts are located by a screw 12 in one end engaging a cavity 13 in the other. Alternatively a hollow wedge 15, Fig. 5 embraces abutments 14 in the caps 4<SP>1</SP>. Walings 7, Fig. 3 are notched for ties S and are supported in brackets 9 which fit the walings tightly or are secured by wedges 9a, the brackets being hung on bolts 8 on the ribs 1, 3.
