Abstract

100,007. Pelton, C. S. Tan 5, 1915, [Convention date]. Pivots.-A link is connected to a lever, or a rod to a brace or bracket, by means of a flexible metal clip. The end of a link 2, Fig. 1, is bent and passed through a hole in the lever &c. 1, and the two are connected by a clip 8. formed with an apertured head 5 to pass over the end 4 of the link, and with arms 9 which are bent round the link. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which the link 2 is bent twice at 12, 13 and the clip has a straight neck 7<a> stiffened by side flanges 15. The device is applicable to motor vehicles, motor-boats, internal-combustion engines &c.
