Abstract

L’invention concerne un module d’entraînement (2) en translation d’au moins un instrument médical souple allongé de robot cathéter, comprenant : un mécanisme d’entraînement en translation de l’instrument médical souple allongé, un canal (42) de guidage en translation de l’instrument médical souple allongé, caractérisé en que ce canal (42) de guidage est formé par une gaine (41) articulée : qui présente une seule ouverture latérale située le long de la totalité ou au moins de la majorité de la longueur de la gaine (41) et dont la taille de cette ouverture est suffisamment large pour l’insertion de l’instrument médical souple allongé dans la gaine (41) et son extraction hors de la gaine (41), sans déformation de cette ouverture, et dont les articulations présentent une liaison à deux degrés de liberté en rotation autour de deux axes orthogonaux entre eux.
