Frein électromagnétique, procédé de fabrication d’un tel frein, actionneur électromécanique comprend un tel frein et dispositif d’occultation comprenant un tel actionneur Un frein électromagnétique (29) d’un actionneur électromécanique comprend un plateau fixe (11), une garniture de friction (25), un plateau mobile (26), un électroaimant (32), un boîtier (40) et un élément de verrouillage (45). Le plateau fixe (24) est disposé en vis-à-vis du plateau mobile (26), suivant une direction définie par un axe longitudinal (X29). La garniture de friction (25) est disposée entre le plateau fixe (24) et le plateau mobile (26). Le boîtier (40) comprend une paroi de fond (40b), une paroi latérale (40c) et un logement (42). Le plateau fixe (24), la garniture de friction (25), le plateau mobile (26) et l’électroaimant (32) sont assemblés à l’intérieur du logement (42) du boîtier (40) entre la paroi de fond (40b) et l’élément de verrouillage (45).
