Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d’hydrogénation sélective de composés polyinsaturés contenant au moins 2 atomes de carbone par molécule en présence d’un catalyseur comprenant une phase active à base d’au moins un métal du groupe VIII et un support se présentant sous la forme d’une mousse céramique ou métallique, ledit catalyseur comprenant une surface géométrique comprise entre 1000 et 7000 m²/m3 et un diamètre des pores compris entre 0,2 et 1,5 mm.
