Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système de propulsion hybride (1a) d’un aéronef, comprenant une turbomachine (2) et au moins un dispositif de propulsion (21, 31) de cet aéronef, entrainé en rotation par un moteur électrique (32), ce dernier étant alimenté en électricité par un générateur électrique (281, 291) entrainé en rotation par l’arbre rotatif (221, 222) de ladite turbomachine. Ce système est remarquable en ce que ladite turbomachine comprend une chambre de combustion (24) alimentée en carburant cryogénique, stocké à l’état liquide dans un réservoir de stockage (4) qui est raccordé à ladite chambre de combustion par au moins une canalisation d’alimentation en carburant cryogénique 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49), et en ce que ledit système de propulsion (1a) comprend :-au moins un refroidisseur cryogénique (5, 6) d’un premier ou deuxième fluide de travail par ledit carburant cryogénique, monté sur ladite canalisation d’alimentation en carburant cryogénique, ce refroidisseur cryogénique étant configuré pour réchauffer le carburant cryogénique, avant son introduction dans la chambre de combustion et refroidir ledit premier ou deuxième fluide travail, ce dernier servant au refroidissement dudit générateur électrique et/ou dudit moteur électrique.
