Abstract

La présente invention concerne l’utilisation d’une composition comprenant un mélange d’au moins un polymère thermoplastique non réactif de Tg ≥ 40°C, notamment ≥ 100°C, en particulier ≥ 120°C, et d’au moins un prépolymère thermoplastique réactif, avec un matériau fibreux, pour la préparation d’un matériau fibreux imprégné par ladite composition, ladite composition présentant une viscosité initiale à l’état fondu lors de l’imprégnation, telle que mesurée en rhéologie plan-plan sous 1 Hz et 2% de déformation, à une température de 300°C, inférieure à la viscosité de la même composition dépourvue de prépolymère réactif, mesurée dans les mêmes conditions et/ou une ductilité, après polymérisation in situ dudit prépolymère thermoplastique réactif dans ladite composition lors de l’imprégnation et après l’imprégnation, au moins équivalente, en particulier supérieure, à la ductilité de la même composition dépourvue de polymère thermoplastique non réactif, et dont ledit prépolymère thermoplastique réactif est polymérisé à la même masse moléculaire moyenne en nombre (Mn).
