Abstract

L’invention concerne un coussin gonflable de sécurité de type rideau pour véhicule automobile, comportant un sac gonflable (11) prévu pour se déployer vers le bas le long d'une surface latérale intérieure de l’habitacle dudit véhicule ainsi qu’un générateur de gaz (12) apte à assurer le déploiement et le gonflage dudit sac (11) ; caractérisé en ce que ledit sac (11) comporte un réseau de poches comprenant au moins une poche primaire (15) reliée fluidiquement à une sortie dudit générateur de gaz (12) ainsi qu’au moins une première série de poches secondaires (16, 17, 18) reliées fluidiquement les unes aux autres par des conduites respectives (23, 24) et dont l’une d’entre elles (16) est reliée fluidiquement à la dite poche primaire (15) par une autre conduite (25).
