Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de détection d’une falsification d’un compteur kilométrique électronique de véhicule automobile comptabilisant un nombre total de kilomètres parcourus par le véhicule automobile depuis sa mise en circulation pendant des roulages successifs en tant que distance kilométrique relevée. La distance relevée est comparée (3) au moins une fois pour un roulage en vigueur à une valeur sauvegardée en mémoire non volatile d’un nombre total de kilomètres parcourus en fin du roulage précédant le roulage en vigueur augmentée ou non d’un nombre de kilomètres déjà parcourus pendant le roulage en vigueur et, quand la distance relevée par le compteur kilométrique est inférieure (O) à la valeur mémorisée en fin du roulage précédent augmentée ou non, il est détecté une falsification du compteur kilométrique et une alerte de falsification est émise(4).
