Boîtier pour une batterie et procédé d’introduction d’un fluide d’extinction dans un tel boîtier. Boîtier (1) pour une batterie, comprenant une enveloppe (2) et au moins un dispositif de rupture (5) muni d’un opercule de rupture (7), le dispositif de rupture étant monté à l’emplacement d’une ouverture (3) ménagée dans l’enveloppe, l’opercule de rupture (7) étant configuré pour rompre lorsqu’une surpression s’exerce sur sa surface externe (8) située du côté extérieur du boîtier.
