Abstract

L’invention concerne un véhicule automobile comprenant un dispositif de protection contre les chocs d’une batterie (1) montée sous le plancher dudit véhicule et séparée d’un silencieux d’échappement (2) par un écran thermique (3) intercalaire, caractérisé en ce que ledit dispositif comprend un coussin (4) fixé en regard de la batterie (1) sur ledit écran thermique (3), ledit coussin (4) étant susceptible de se déformer lors d’un déplacement du silencieux (2) vers l’avant au contact de la batterie (1) pour absorber l’énergie cinétique résultant d’un impact sur ledit véhicule.
