Abstract
Le système d'assistance à la conduite, monté sur véhicule, comprend : un système à capteur(s) comprenant un dispositif d'imagerie (2) configuré pour capturer une image d'un champ de vision externe situé à l'avant du véhicule ; un dispositif (68) de traitement d’informations présumées sur la route pour estimer un type ou un attribut d'une route par utilisation du système à capteur(s), afin de fournir des informations relatives au type ou à l'attribut présumé de la route ; et un gestionnaire (5) d'informations géographiques stockant des informations routières géodépendantes représentatives de types et/ou à d’attributs des routes. Avec ce système, la fiabilité des informations routières géodépendantes stockées peut augmenter en réponse à une bonne correspondance entre les informations routières géodépendantes stockées et les informations liées au type ou attribut présumé de la route. Il est permis d'exploiter pleinement les informations géographiques stockées. Figure pour l’abrégé: figure 8
