Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de cellopolysaccharides comprenant les étapes consistant à : a) fournir une cellulose de degré de polymérisation moyen viscosimétrique DPvi, b) mettre en contact ladite cellulose avec une solution aqueuse de dioxyde de chlore à pH supérieur ou égal à 8, ce par quoi une suspension de cellopolysaccharides de degré de polymérisation moyen viscosimétrique DPvf dans une phase liquide est obtenue, où DPvf ≤ 0,60 x DPvi c) récupérer lesdits cellopolysaccharides en suspension, et éventuellement les cellooligosaccharides présents dans la phase liquide.
