Abstract

La présent invention se rapporte au domaine des polymères et concerne particulièrement un polyester thermoplastique présentant une résistance améliorée au phénomène de fissuration, son procédé de fabrication ainsi que son utilisation pour la fabrication d'articles plastiques. Le polyester thermoplastique comprend au moins un motif 1,4 : 3,6-dianhydrohexitol (A), au moins un motif diol (B), autre que le motif 1,4 : 3,6-dianhydrohexitol (A), au moins un motif acide dicarboxylique aromatique (C) et au moins un agent branchant, et présente une viscosité réduite en solution d'au moins 0,75 dL/g et d'au plus 1,5 dL/g. Ce polyester thermoplastique présente l'avantage d'être particulièrement résistant au phénomène de fissuration et présente également des temps d'estérification et de polycondensation améliorés lors de son procédé de préparation.
