Abstract

Le mécanisme de protection de canister comporte un couvercle de protection (80) fixé à un canister (70) à l'aide d'un support (90). Le couvercle (80) présente une paroi latérale (81) qui recouvre une surface latérale du canister qui fait face à un arbre de transmission (5) dans une direction latérale d'un véhicule (1). La paroi latérale (81) présente un renflement (82) qui s'étend vers l'arbre de transmission. Le renflement comporte une surface de contact (82B) qui est une surface plane orientée avec un angle pour faire face à l'arbre de transmission. La surface de contact (82B) est située au plus loin de la paroi latérale (81) sur le renflement (82) et s'étend le long d'une ligne partant d'une extrémité avant (5A) de l'arbre de transmission. Cette structure minimise le risque que le canister soit soumis à une charge provenant de l'arbre de transmission lorsque le véhicule subit une collision latérale. Figure pour l’abrégé [Fig. 7]
