Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de stockage et de production d'énergie par air comprimé comportant les étapes suivantes : - une compression de l'air par des compresseurs étagés au cours de laquelle le refroidissement de l'air après au moins une étape de compression est effectué à l'aide d'un d'échange avec un fluide de transfert thermique, - stockage de l'air comprimé et du fluide de transfert thermique chaud après échange lors des compressions, - détentes étagées de l'air par des turbines de production d'énergie, au cours desquelles le réchauffage de l'air est effectué après au moins une étape de détente par ledit fluide de transfert chaud soutiré dudit stockage. Selon l'invention, après réchauffage de l'air en détente et avant d'être recyclé vers l'étape de compression, le fluide de transfert est refroidi par une boucle de récupération supplémentaire d'énergie comportant une pompe, un échangeur et une turbine et un fluide de transfert supplémentaire.
