Procédé pour déterminer la position d'un emplacement de stationnement libre (301) consistant à : - recevoir les données (307, 309) fournies par plusieurs participants à la circulation concernant les emplacements de stationnement libre (301), la transmission se faisant par un réseau de communication et les données (307, 309) comprenant chacune la position (307) de l'emplacement de stationnement libre (301), - déterminer le centre de gravité (313) de la position respective, et - constater que la position de l'emplacement de stationnement libre (301) correspond au centre de gravité déterminé (313).
