L'invention concerne un véhicule (100) terrestre de transport en commun, en particulier de type bus, comprenant un habitacle (102) prévu pour accueillir plusieurs personnes et au moins un compartiment technique (112) se trouvant en partie haute dudit habitacle (102) et accessible depuis ledit habitacle (102), caractérisé en ce que ledit compartiment technique (112) est pourvu d'un couvercle (114) rotatif autour d'un axe de rotation (116) entre une position ouverte laissant accès audit compartiment technique (112) et une position fermée interdisant l'accès audit compartiment technique (112).
