Abstract

Procédé de transformation du mercure non élémentaire contenu dans les composés d'une charge hydrocarbonée gazeuse ou liquide, en mercure élémentaire, dans lequel la transformation du mercure contenu dans les composés de ladite charge en mercure élémentaire comprend le passage de ladite charge dans une unité de conversion à une température cible et un temps de séjour fixé et adapté à ladite température cible de manière à ce qu'au moins 90% en poids du mercure non élémentaire contenu dans les composés de ladite charge soient convertis en mercure élémentaire, ladite étape de transformation étant réalisée en l'absence d'hydrogène et en l'absence de catalyseur.
