Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un signal de tension relatif à la pression régnant dans une chambre de combustion d'un cylindre d'un moteur à combustion interne, ledit signal dit « signal d'entrée » présentant alternativement des phases dites « de plateau » et des phases de pics principaux. Le procédé comprend une étape (E1) de redressement du signal d'entrée de sorte que la pente du signal de base soit nulle, une étape (E2) d'écrêtage des pics du signal redressé dont l'amplitude est supérieure à une valeur de tension prédéterminée de manière à obtenir un signal au moins partiellement écrêté dit « signal écrêté », une étape (E3) de détection d'un pic principal lorsque l'amplitude du signal d'entrée est supérieure à l'amplitude du signal écrêté et une étape (E4_1, E4_2) de compensation du signal d'entrée en l'absence d'une telle détection.
