Abstract

Un appareil de purification de gaz d'échappement pour un moteur à combustion interne (1), dans lequel un traitement de régénération en amont d'un filtre (4) autre qu'un traitement d'enlèvement par oxydation des particules de dépôt par la commande du rapport air-carburant des gaz d'échappement est réalisé en utilisant un dispositif de chauffage (3) qui est configuré pour chauffer une partie du côté amont du filtre (4) dans lequel des particules tendent à se déposer, indépendamment du rapport air-carburant des gaz d'échappement. Ensuite, le traitement de régénération en amont du filtre est réalisé jusqu'à ce que la quantité de dépôt de particules dans la partie du côté amont du filtre diminue à une quantité prédéterminée, indépendamment de la quantité de dépôt de particules du filtre entier.
