An internal-combustion engine exhaust gas purification system 1 in which a fine particle collecting unit with a catalyst 21 is disposed in an exhaust gas passage 15 of an internal-combustion engine 10, wherein the configuration of a filter in the fine particle collecting unit with a catalyst 21 comprises a partial filter 21a, without an exhaust gas purification unit supporting an oxidation catalyst being disposed in the exhaust gas passage 15 upstream of the fine particle collecting unit with a catalyst 21, and a catalyst 21b supported by the partial filter 21a is a precious-metal-free catalyst that does not include a precious metal.
