Description
The present invention relates to a rail vehicle, in particular for the transport of passengers. More particularly, the invention relates to a tram-type railway vehicle. A tram-type railway vehicle is intended to circulate in an urban environment, which imposes certain constraints, in particular of size. Indeed, the space available for vehicle traffic is sometimes reduced. It is therefore necessary to optimally reduce the size of the vehicle, particularly in the curves of the tracks on which the vehicle is traveling, and more particularly in the short radius curves. The invention particularly aims to provide a rail vehicle whose gauge is reduced in curves, without reducing the capacity of the vehicle. For this purpose, the invention particularly relates to a rail vehicle, including tram type, comprising at least two cars, each car comprising a structural body extending longitudinally between two ends, the structural bodies of the various cars being identical, characterized in that each car comprises, at each end of its structural body, a single-axle bogie of its own.
The position of the single-axle bogies at the ends of the structural body of each car makes it possible to obtain a particularly small jig in curves. In addition, it should be noted that each car of the vehicle according to the invention is based on two single-axle bogies that are specific to it, unlike vehicles known in the state of the art, in which some bogies support two adjacent cars.
Thus, the vehicle according to the invention does not have mass transfer between two adjacent cars, and the axle masses are distributed in a balanced manner on the various bogies equipping the railway vehicle. A rail vehicle according to the invention may further comprise one or more of the following features, taken alone or in any technically feasible combination. - The single-axle bogies of the different cars are identical. - The railway vehicle comprises, among said cars, two end cars, at least one of the end cars having a driver's cabin secured to the structural body of the end car. - Each driver's cab has no bogie. - Each single-axle bogie comprises at least one portion movable in rotation about a vertical axis relative to the car carrying the single-axle bogie, said movable portion carrying the axle. - At least one single-axle bogie is motorized. - Each single-axle bogie has wheels whose diameter is greater than 590 mm. - Each car is hingedly connected to at least one adjacent car by a gangway device. - Each car has a low floor, preferably without a step.
The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example and with reference to the appended figures, in which: FIG. 1 is a side view of a railway vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention; - Figure 2 is a schematic side view showing various structural elements of the rail vehicle of Figure 1. There is shown in the figures a rail vehicle 10, including tram type. The railway vehicle 10 is for example intended for the transport of passengers, especially in urban environment.
More particularly, in the example shown, the railway vehicle 10 comprises two end cars 12 and an intermediate car 13 interposed longitudinally between said end cars 12. According to a first variant, the railway vehicle 10 could comprise only two cars, that is to say only the end cars 12. According to another variant, the railway vehicle 10 could comprise at least two intermediate cars 13, aligned longitudinally between the end cars 12. As shown schematically in Figure 2, each car 12, 13 comprises a structural box 14 extending longitudinally between two ends 14A, 14B. Advantageously, the structural boxes 14 of the various cars 12, 13 are identical. In particular, the structural box 14 of each end car 12 is identical to the structural box 14 of each intermediate car 13.
Enfin, cette standardisation permet de réduire le coût de production du véhicule 10.In other words, the structural boxes 14 are standardized, which facilitates the manufacture of the railway vehicle 10, in particular by limiting the tools required for this manufacture. In addition, this standardization makes it possible to reduce the number of parts references in the spare and repair fleet, and also makes it possible to standardize the maintenance infrastructures. Finally, this standardization makes it possible to reduce the production cost of the vehicle 10.
For these same reasons of standardization, each car 12, 13 advantageously comprises identical equipment (not shown), including passenger seats, arranged identically in each car. Each structural box 14 comprises at least one lateral access opening intended to receive a conventional sliding door 16. Advantageously, each structural box 14 comprises at least two lateral access openings arranged on either side of the structural box. 14, one facing the other. In the example shown, each structural box has four access openings, two of which are shown in Figure 1, closed by doors 16, and two others are on the other side of the structural box 14, each of which one next to one of those represented. Since the structural boxes 14 are identical, the doors 16 are equitably distributed along the railway vehicle 10. In a conventional manner, each structural box 14 also has lateral openings intended to be closed by respective panes, for example partially movable windows or not. Finally, each structural box 14 is open at each of its ends 14A, 14B, to allow the movement of passengers in the railway vehicle 10. More particularly, to allow the movement of passengers between two cars 12, 13 adjacent, each car 12 13 is hingedly connected to at least one adjacent car 12, 13 by a conventional type of intercirculation device 18. Each car 12, 13 comprises, at each end 14A, 14B of its structural body 14, a single-axle bogie 20 of its own. Thus, the railway vehicle 10 according to the invention does not comprise a bogie common to two adjacent cars, so that each bogie 20 must bear only the weight of the car equipped with this bogie 20. The position of the bogies 20 at the ends 14A , 14B of the structural body 14 allows to clear an important space between the bogies 20 of the structural box 14, and thus facilitates the flexibility of the layout of the passenger hall space. Furthermore, each bogie 20 is of the "single-axle" type, that is to say that it comprises only one axle, conventionally carrying two wheels 22. All the wheels 22 of the railway vehicle 10 present an identical diameter.
Advantageously, the wheels 22 are of the "large wheel" type, that is to say that their diameter is greater than 590 mm. Each single-axle bogie 20 comprises at least one portion movable in rotation about a vertical axis relative to the car 12, 13 equipped with the single-axle bogie 20, this movable portion carrying the axle. It is easy to understand that a single-axle bogie 20 thus articulated causes few constraints for the circulation of the vehicle 10 in curves, even in curves with small radius, unlike conventional two-axle bogies. The single axle bogie thus allows the reduction of jig. It should be noted that the good maneuverability of the vehicle 10 according to the invention, coupled with the good distribution of the masses on the axles, allows the realization of a large vehicle, especially longer than 40 meters. Advantageously, the single-axle bogies 20 of the various cars 12, 13 are identical, for reasons of standardization. As mentioned above, such standardization of the single-axle bogies 20 facilitates the manufacture and maintenance of the rail vehicle 10, and reduces manufacturing costs and maintenance. It should be noted that at least one single-axle bogie 20 is motorized. Advantageously, the motorization is equitably distributed along the railway vehicle 10. Thus, the traction and braking performance of the vehicle 10 are optimal.
Thus, the driving cabin 24 is an independent element, reported and secured to the structural body 14 of the end car 12. Usually, each of the two end cars 12 comprises such a driving cabin 24. Each driving cabin 24 is of conventional type, and includes equipment necessary for driving the vehicle. railway vehicle. Each driving cabin 24 is devoid of bogie. In other words, the single-axle bogie 20 of the end car 12 does not extend below this driver's cab 24.
Advantageously, each car 12, 13 has a low floor, that is to say a floor spaced from the ground by a distance of less than 525 mm. The floor of each car 12, 13 comprises two first zones, each located above a respective single-axle bogie 20, and a second zone extending longitudinally between the bogies 20 of this car.
Advantageously, each first floor zone is at the same height as the second floor zone. In this case, the second floor area is elevated to be arranged at the same height as the first floor areas. Alternatively, each first floor area is at a height greater than the height of the second floor area. In this case, the transition between the first and second floor zone is by longitudinal or transverse ramps. Thus, to facilitate the movement of passengers in the vehicle, including passengers with reduced mobility, the floor is devoid of walking.
Note that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, but could have various variants without departing from the scope of the claims.
