Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a system for fixing wood slats on support beams for the realization of a terrace.
State of the art Fastening means known for this type of product are constituted by clips to be inserted between the edges of two successive blades which have been previously grooved. These clips form a U extending by lateral arms cooperating with the grooves of the blades and are fixed to a support beam by nailing or screwing. This system has the disadvantage of being expensive because of requiring a machining operation of the blades, to achieve the grooves on each side, disadvantage to which is added that of creating a significant unesthetic space between the blades, making the fixing visible and the possibility of fouling. There is also a fixing system effected by means of two identical complementary plates or connectors, interposed by screwing between the underside of two successive blades and a corresponding beam, extending perpendicularly below them, each of the connectors having a flat end tongue, extending by a rear heel, of double thickness of that of the tongue, said connectors being arranged head to tail between two blades, so that one of them, being fixed on a blade its heel then on the beam by its tongue, creates a space between it and the blade, height capable of allowing the recessing of the tongue of identical height of the other connector, previously fixed on an adjacent blade.
This system makes it possible to reduce or even eliminate the spacing between the blades and to make the fixing invisible, but has the disadvantage of requiring a long exposure time, which is therefore expensive because it requires the use of a positioning jig in order to locate the mounting holes.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is to facilitate the mounting of these fastening means and thus the implementation of the blades. It relates for this purpose a system for fixing wood slats on support beams, for the realization of a terrace, being effected by means of two identical complementary fastening plates or connectors, interposed by screwing between two successive blades and a corresponding beam, extending perpendicularly thereto, each of the connectors having a flat end tongue, extending by a rear bead, of double thickness of that of the tongue, said connectors being arranged head- spade between two blades, so that one of them, being fixed on a blade by its heel and then on the beam by its tongue, creates a space between it and the blade, high enough to allow embedding the tongue of identical height of the other connector, previously fixed on an adjacent blade. This system is characterized in that the identical connectors are obtained in pairs, in one piece, by molding a plastic material, one being returned relative to the other 1800, the double connector thus obtained being of length such to cover the width of a blade, each of the protruding ends of the tongues being able to cooperate head-to-tail with the protruding end of the tongue, offset in height of an identical double connector of a successive blade. The present invention also relates to the features which will emerge during the following description, which should be considered in isolation or in all their possible technical combinations. This description given by way of non-limiting example, will better understand how the invention can be made with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Brief description of the figures - Figure 1 shows in perspective a terrace portion comprising three blades of which a deliberately transparent, to see the double connector according to the invention, suitable for blades 140 mm wide, for example. FIG. 2 shows in perspective and on an enlarged scale the double connector alone, according to FIG. 1. FIG. 3 represents in longitudinal section the double connector, according to FIG. 2. FIG. three blades, one transparent, to see the double connector according to the invention, suitable for blades 120 mm wide, for example. FIG. 5 shows in perspective and on an enlarged scale the double connector alone, according to FIG. 4. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a terrace portion comprising three blades, one of which is transparent, enabling the double connector to be seen according to FIG. invention, suitable for blades of 90 mm wide, for example. FIG. 7 represents in perspective and on an enlarged scale the double connector alone, according to FIG. 6. Detailed description The system 1 generally designated in the figures is intended for fixing wood strips 2 on support beams 3, for the The system 1 comprises two identical complementary fixing plates 4,5 or connectors, interposed by screwing 6 between two successive blades 2,2a and a corresponding beam 3, extending perpendicularly thereto, each connectors 4.5 having a flat end tab 7.8, extending by a rear bead 9,10, of double thickness of that of the tongue 7,8, said connectors 4,5 being arranged head to tail between two blades 2, so that one of them 4, being fixed on a blade 2 by its heel 9 and then on the beam 3 by its tongue 7, creates a space "e" between the latter 7 and the blade 2 , of height "h" able to allow the installation ent of the tongue 8 of height hl identical to the other connector 5, previously fixed on an adjacent blade 2a. According to the invention, the identical connectors 4,5 are obtained two by two, in one piece, by molding a plastic material, one being turned relative to the other 180 °, the double connector 4,5 thus obtained being of length "L" such as to cover the width "I" of a blade 2, each of the protruding ends 7a of the tongues 7 being able to cooperate head-to-tail with the protruding end 8a of the tongue 8, offset by height h2 of a double identical connector 4,5 of a successive blade 2a.30 According to another characteristic of the invention, the double connector 4,5 is formed by means of two connecting arms 11, 12, issued from of their respective heel 9,10 and which extend complementarily on either side of the longitudinal axis XX ', in opposite directions D1, D2, said arms 11,12 being offset longitudinally by a value "d" allowing the adaptation of the connector 4.5 of length "L" to a blade 2 of predetermined maximum width "I", and interconnected by a low-resistance median contact zone "a" making them breakable, so as to make the double connector 4,5 adjustable in length "L" as a function of the width of blade 2 to ask. This has the advantage of allowing the use of the double connector 4,5 as is, whose width is compatible with a maximum standard blade width (140 mm for example), but also on blades of larger or smaller dimensions, after having broken the breakable zone "a" making the two connectors 4.5 independent and therefore adjustable according to the width "I" of the blades 2. According to another characteristic of the invention, the connecting arms 11,12 of the double connector 4 5 comprises a second zone of low resistance "b", transversely formed between each of these 11,12 and the heel 9,10 of each of the parts 4,5 of the double connector, so as to be able to completely remove said arms 11 , 12 and obtain separate individual connectors, in order to reduce on demand the length "L" of the assembly to self-adapt to blades of minimum width "I" predetermined. The double connector 4,5 can thus be adapted for very small blade widths, for example 90 mm. According to another characteristic of the invention, the tongue 8 of one of the parts 5 of the double connector, fixed under a 2a blade and intended to fit into the space "e" created by the tongue 7 of the double connector portion of the other blade 2, has on the upper face of its protruding end portion 8a a transverse stop 13 intended to come into contact with the longitudinal edge of the blade on which is fixed the double connector, so as to facilitate its positioning before fixing.
Thus and according to the main object of the invention, the same double connector can be adapted to several types of blades, thanks to its modularity, for example 140 mm wide by using it as is; from 140 mm to 120 mm by partially separating the breakable connecting arms; from 120 mm to 90 mm by completely removing said connecting arms.
To this advantage is added that of reducing the spacing of the blades and to make the connectors invisible.
