La présente invention concerne un fauteuil pliant de type « flâneuse » pouvant être manoeuvré entre une position pliée et une pluralité de positions dépliées. La figure 1 représente un fauteuil pliant 2 connu du document 5 BRMU6700348. Ce fauteuil 2 comporte une armature 4 composée de deux ensembles 6 parallèles. Chaque ensemble 6 comprend des barres 8 et 10 longitudinales articulées par un axe 12. Les barres 8 présentent des tronçons supérieurs 8a formant dossier, et des tronçons inférieurs 8b formant piétement avant. Les 10 barres 10 présentent des tronçons supérieurs 10a formant assise, et des tronçons inférieurs 10b formant piétement arrière. Chaque ensemble 6 comprend en outre un passant 14 fixé au tronçon supérieur 10a de la barre 10, et un passant 16 fixé au tronçon supérieur 8a de la barre 8. 15 Chaque ensemble 6 comporte enfin une sangle 18 fixé au passant 14, engagée à travers le passant 16 et équipée à son extrémité libre d'un crochet 20.
