Abstract

The device has a suction cup (3) provided with a rigid wall elastically deformed so as to create vacuum in a chamber defined by the cup when suction is attached to a keratinous material of a skin surface to be massaged. The chamber has a side wall (4) provided with an edge (5) intended to be in contact with the skin. A porous product carrier (10) is intended to be applied against the region of the surface skin when depression is formed. The product carrier is arranged at the edge so as to partially surround the skin surface defined by the contact with the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a cosmetic method for fighting against cellulite or orange peel or thin figure.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for packaging and applying a composition to the skin, which also comprises a suction cup for partially aspirating a skin area to be massaged. The subject of the invention is also a cosmetic process for combating cellulite and / or orange peel skin and / or for thinning the silhouette, comprising the topical application of a composition to the skin followed by a massage by means of the sucker.

Adiposity (or excess fat in the subcutaneous tissue) can have many more or less complex causes.

Some cells of the skin, called adipocytes, contain varying amounts of fats in the form of triglycerides synthesized in vivo by the adipocytes themselves (lipogenesis). However, in parallel, the triglycerides thus formed, and then stored, in the adipocytes can also be redecomposed (lipolysis) by releasing fatty acids. The fatty acids thus released can then either diffuse into the body to be consumed or transformed in different ways, or be recaptured (soon or a little later) by the adipocytes to generate triglycerides again by lipogenesis.

If, for various reasons (too rich food, inactivity, aging and others), a substantial imbalance settles in the body between lipogenesis and lipolysis, that is to say more precisely if the amounts of fat formed by lipogenesis become markedly and consistently superior to those that are eliminated by lipolysis, then occurs in adipocytes accumulation of triglycerides which, if it becomes excessive, can be gradually translated by the appearance of a thick skin, often irregular surface ( "orange peel") and consistency more or less flaccid or gelatinous, finally giving the silhouette an unsightly general appearance that can evolve between the simple local overload (lipodismorphy) and the formation of cellulite, through the overweight some, and finally the real obesity.

However, especially in view of the profound physical, aesthetic and sometimes psychological discomfort they cause to individuals who suffer from it, especially in women, adiposity and cellulite are nowadays an affection of less than less well supported or accepted.

Solutions have therefore been proposed in the prior art to intervene on the metabolism of fatty acids. The cosmetic compositions proposed hitherto for treating adiposity therefore contain so-called slimming compounds, for example xanthine bases (i.e., xanthine derivatives), such as theophylline, caffeine or even theobromine.

"Cosmetic composition" means any composition as defined in Council Directive 93/35 / EEC of 14 June 1993.

Other solutions to this problem have also been provided by the mechanical massage of the skin covering the areas of the body where the adipocytes are located, and in particular the "palpate-rolling" type massage. This type of massage promotes blood circulation and helps eliminate toxins.

Electric massage machines are known, as described in documents EP-224422 and US-6702766, which are used in beauty institutes. These machines perform a palpate-suck-ride under the control of a beautician or a physiotherapist. This type of machine is very expensive and bulky. It can not be considered in the context of domestic use.

Documents EP-1932500 are also known; EP-1472953; and GB-2374045 different conditioning devices of a cosmetic product topped with a massage head. These devices allow home use.

Also known from GB-2351232 a container for packaging a cosmetic skin care composition including a dispensing orifice opens into a hose ending in a suction cup, at which the composition can be dispensed.

But there is still a need for devices for massaging the skin deeper, while remaining in the domestic universe, namely reduced overall size devices and easily transportable. There is a need for conditioning and massage devices whose use is simple, easy to move manually on the skin to be massaged. There is still a need for powerful devices in terms of massage that are otherwise inexpensive to achieve.

There is also a need for devices that prevent direct contact between the hands and the skin to be massaged. In particular, there is a need for devices whose gesture of use is as simple for the distribution of the product as for the massage, the assembly is preferably made with one hand. There is a need for the same device that allows to easily slide a suction cup on the skin, while maintaining a region of skin suction in the suction cup. The area of skin subjected to aspiration is progressive as one slides the suction cup on the skin. There is a need to facilitate the sliding of the suction cup while maintaining a skin area sucked by the suction cup during this movement.

The term "keratin materials" denotes all skin surfaces, and more particularly the skin of the thighs, calves, arms, abdomen and buttocks.

The subject of the invention is a device for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic composition comprising a product support and a suction cup, the suction cup having an elastically deformable wall so as to create a depression in a chamber delimited by the suction cup when is contiguous to a surface of keratin materials, in particular a surface of skin to be massaged, characterized in that the product support is applied against at least one region of this surface when the depression is formed, the product support partially surrounding at least the surface bounded by contact with the chamber.

The product support may not extend through the chamber. It can at least partially define the perimeter of this skin surface taken. In particular, the product support can define the entire perimeter of this surface, which can be sucked into the chamber. Thus the sucked surface can extend at least partially inside the chamber.

In particular, the product support can be applied against this surface to be massaged even in the absence of formed depression. Applied against, it is meant that there is a direct contact between the surface to be massaged and an outer periphery of the product support.

According to one embodiment, the product support may be a loaf of deleterious product disposed at a side of a wall delimiting said chamber. Alternatively, the product support may be a product capable of spreading, but not liquid, disposed on this edge so as to be retained, for example because of the adhesive properties of the product relative to said wall (for example a wax or a stick...). In this case, the edge may have the shape of a cross section of a hollow torus. The song can then delimit an annular space in the form of a channel.

In another variant, the product support may be a porous tip capable of retaining a quantity of cosmetic composition. The release of product by this porous tip can be done by capillarity in contact with the surface to be massaged, or better by elastic deformation of the tip so that its deformation causes product distribution.

For example, the elastically deformable wall may define a side wall of the chamber where the depression is created. Thus the suction cup may comprise elastically deformable sidewalls. Such a configuration is advantageous because it allows to create a vacuum in the chamber defined by the suction cup contiguous to a surface of keratin materials, without having to exert pressure perpendicularly to this surface of keratin materials. Another advantage of this configuration is that it gives the impression to the user to perform a pinch movement, in the spirit of that of "palpate-rolling" without having to be in contact with his skin.

Alternatively, the suction cup may comprise rigid walls and an orifice communicating with an elastically deformable pear. In particular, the side wall of the chamber may be surmounted by a dome so that the suction cup is made in two zones, a first zone having rigid walls and forming a vacuum chamber, and a second zone having deformable walls and forming a suction pear.

In order to extend the life of the device, and to protect the product support, the device may comprise a closure member capable of protecting the product support without any use, especially during storage. This closure member can be clipped, screwed or just mounted tight.

The subject of the invention is also a cosmetic process for combating cellulite and / or orange peel skin and / or for thinning the silhouette, comprising the topical application to the skin of a cosmetic composition, followed by the aspiration of the skin. a skin zone covered with said composition in the suction cup of a device according to the invention.

For example, the suction cup can be moved on the skin, while maintaining a depression in the chamber delimited by the skin in contact with the edges of the suction pad.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows and on examining the figures which accompany it. These are presented only as an indication and in no way limitative of the invention. FIG. 1 represents a device 1 according to the invention. This device comprises a suction cup 2. In Figure 1, the suction cup 2 is formed by a bell 3, at least one wall is elastically deformable. A side wall 4 of the bell 3 is defined by a generatrix Y of a cylinder, such that it forms an angle α in any position relative to a main axis of elongation X of the device. The angle a is for example less than 30 °. The side wall 4 has a border 5 intended to come into contact with the skin. Opposite the edge 5, relative to the axis X, the bell 3 is closed and comprises a dome 6 coming in the extension of the side wall 4.

In the example shown, the side wall 4 is made of material with the dome 6. Advantageously, the bell 3 is made of a single piece of molding.

For example, it is made of silicone, PVC or low-density polyethylene, for example Exact®, or elastomer, such as a styrene-ethylene / butylene-styrene polymer ("SEBS") or as the Santoprene ® or a terpolymer made from ethylene-propylene-diene monomers (EPDM), or such as a copolymer made from butadiene monomer (NBR).

The suction cup 3 according to the invention is intended to be applied against the skin so that a slight depression can be formed in the chamber defined by the bell 3 in contact with the skin. This simple aspiration, and the possible displacement on the skin of the bell while maintaining the aspiration allows an effective massage.

To adjust the need for deformation of the bell, and secondly the need for rigidity of the device to allow sliding on the skin without risk of losing the depression created in the bell, we can adapt the thickness of the walls. For example, the maximum thickness chosen for the dome 6 is between 1 and 3 mm, and is for example 2 mm. While the maximum thickness chosen for the side wall 4 is between 3 and 7 mm, and is for example 5 mm. More particularly, a thickness is chosen which increases progressively as one moves from the intersection of the X axis with the dome 6, along the dome 6 and then the side wall 4. The thickness is always measured perpendicularly to the tangent to the outer periphery of the bell 3. With this configuration, it is the dome 6 which is elastically deformable. To create the suction it is necessary to press vertically.

Alternatively, the thicknesses may be defined differently so that it is the side wall 4 which is elastically deformable. To create the suction it is necessary to pinch laterally.

In the example of Figure 1, the side wall 4 is very slightly frustoconical circular section transverse to the longitudinal axis X. Alternatively, the cross section of the side wall 4 may also be ovoid.

More particularly, the elastically deformable wall of the bell 3 has a remanent shape memory.

The border 5 forms a channel so as to receive the cosmetic product to be applied to the skin. This provision of the product relative to the bell 3 aims to facilitate movement on the skin. The border 5 has an annular hollow delimited by two mutually concentric edges 7 and 8, FIG.

The product support 10 is in the form of a solid ring of product, for example hot-cast in the hollow 9 formed between these two edges 7 and 8. In this case, the product support is in the form of a soap product bread. In the case the product support is reusable. It is multi-purpose. Alternatively, the depression 9 may form a support for a product to be deposited by the user at the moment when she wishes to perform the massage. In this case, the device is single-use.

In both cases the hollow 9 may have product retaining means. The retaining means may be in the form of an inner surface condition capable of anchoring the product, such as, for example, thin ribs or small pins.

Alternatively, as shown in Figure 3, the product carrier 10 is a porous or a foam to be impregnated. FIG. 3 shows a product support 10 before it is mounted in the device 1, and another product support already fixed inside the bell 3. The foam may be pre-impregnated or impregnated by the user before application on the skin. In this case, the product carrier has a disk shape. It is for example retained by radial compression inside the side wall 4. It is then arranged to be flush with the edge 5. Alternatively, the product support 10 can be retained by gluing, or heat welding or by cooperation with a hook provided on the inner periphery of the side wall to provide mechanical anchoring of the product support.

In the embodiment of Figure 3, the bell 3 has side walls swollen outwardly. The thickness of the walls is here defined differently from Figure 1, so as to have side walls more deformable than the dome 6 which closes the bell 3. In particular, the side wall 4 has an extra thickness at mid height between the edge 5 and the dome 6, relative to the X axis.

Alternatively again, according to a third embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the side wall 4 may be cylindrical, so that its generatrix is parallel to the axis X. At the opposite of the edge 5, the wall 4, the lateral wall 4 and the bottom 11 are made of material in a rigid material, not elastically deformable. For example, they are obtained by molding from a polyolefin material (PE, PP), or POM, or ABS. The bell 3 according to this third embodiment is rigid. To be able to create a depression to partially suck a skin area, the bell 3 is in fluid communication with a pear 12 elastically deformable.

In particular, the bottom 11 has an orifice 13 surmounted by a hollow tubular band 14 on which is retained the pear 12. The orifice 13 opens on the one hand inside the chamber defined by the bell 3 when it is in contact with the skin, and secondly inside the bulb 12. The bulb 12 has an elastically deformable wall with a remanent shape memory.

In the variant of Figure 4, the border 5 is made in a similar manner to that of the first embodiment of Figure 1. The edge 5 has a hollow surface 9. It has a concavity, for example annular. As a variant not shown, the border 5 could have a plurality of concavities arranged in a ring, but in a discontinuous manner, the concavities not being open to one another. In another non-illustrated embodiment of Figure 4, the border 5 may also comprise a flat surface instead of the recess 9, on which the product support will be arranged.

The cosmetic composition applied is preferably in fluid form, it may be in the form of cream, gel, mousse, oil or lotion, alcoholic or not. For example, this cosmetic composition is intended for the care of the skin. When the composition to be applied is in liquid form, it is preferably imbibed in a disk made of porous material, such as a foam, a textile, a felt or a nonwoven. The porous disk can be fixed on the border 5 by gluing, reversibly or permanently, or scratch.

The border 5 may have an inside diameter of between 2 cm and 8 cm, preferably between 4 cm and 6 cm. In all the embodiments shown, the border 5 is provided to define a plane contact with the skin. Alternatively, and to accommodate curved skin areas, the border 5 may be designed to provide contact with the skin along a surface having at least one plane of curvature.

In the following description, a mode of use of the device 1 will be described.

The bell 3 is placed against the skin and the elastically deformable wall is compressed so as to evacuate part of the air contained in the interior volume of the chamber defined by the bell in contact with the skin. When the deformable wall returns to its initial shape, the sealed contact between the edge 5 and the skin being established, a skin zone is slightly sucked into the volume defined by the bell 3.

As soon as the suction cup is retained on the skin, because of the micro-depression created inside the bell 3, the device 1 is moved on the skin surface, trying to maintain a permanent contact with the whole of the skin. the border 5 against the skin so as to always keep a quantity of skin sucked into the bell 3. The skin surface on which the device is moved is thus massaged according to the technique of massage-suck-roll.

This movement is facilitated by the cosmetic product which is disposed at this edge 5 and which ensures at all points of the circumference a sliding contact.

In Figures 1 and 4, the product pattern that can be applied to the skin is shown before spreading by the device. In this case, it is an annular pattern corresponding substantially to that of the hollow 9.

For storage of the device 1, a cover, not shown, can be provided to be mounted around the suction cup 3, and more particularly around the edge 5. Thus, the device 1 can be arranged upside down in linear, in the spaces commercial sales, as well as the user. Such a hood allows storage upside down but especially prevents dust deposits in the suction cup. The hood can be equipped with a hole to facilitate the drying of the suction cup after use if the user wishes to rinse it.

Throughout the description, the phrase "having one" should be considered synonymous with "having at least one", unless the opposite is specified.
