Description

The present invention relates to a method of thermal insulation of a building from the outside. To insulate a building consists essentially of covering its walls with a layer of insulating material. In the usual way, for new constructions in particular, the insulating material is affixed to the inner faces of the walls, sometimes, essentially in the field of renovation, it is the outer faces that are covered. Whatever the method chosen, the obtaining of good insulation depends on the one hand on the thickness of the insulating material layer, and on the other hand on the presence or absence of thermal bridges. Insulation from the inside has the disadvantage of reducing the living space, especially as the thickness of the layer of insulating material is important, and also requiring that, when laying, the dwelling is empty, so that this operation is preferably carried out on new constructions and not in renovation. It is for this reason that in terms of renovation the insulation is carried out from the outside, but that on this occasion one generates important thermal bridges between the original wall and the newly created exterior facing. The purpose of the present invention is to remedy the various aforementioned drawbacks by proposing a method of thermal insulation of a building from the outside, which is easy to implement, and which makes it possible to set up the thickness of the desired insulating material, and to avoid the creation of thermal bridges. The method of thermal insulation of a building from the outside according to the invention consists in covering the walls of said building externally with a layer of insulating material, and it is essentially characterized in that it consists of: a wooden structure with the dimensions of the wall to be insulated, which is in the form of a juxtaposition of frames from the rafters assembly, - to fix said structure to said wall and at a distance from the latter so as to on the one hand to provide a space between said structure and said wall, and on the other hand to define the thickness of said layer of insulating material, - to set up around said structure, banks of edges to close peripherally said space between said structure and said wall, - to cover said structure with a rain screen, - to make an opening in said screen, at the upper part of said structure, - to be blown in by said opening an insulating material in bulk, - to close said opening, and - to cover the whole of a facing. According to an additional characteristic of the method according to the invention, before the installation of the rain screen, one fixed on one face of the rafters of the structure of the plates of a non-thermally conductive material, in order to fill the space separating said rafters from the wall to be covered, so as to compartmentalize the structure. According to another additional feature of the method according to the invention, the structure is fixed to the wall by means of brackets of adjustable length, so as to adapt to the thickness chosen for the layer of insulating material. According to another additional feature of the method according to the invention, the rain screen is fixed by means of counter-slats, which allow the attachment of the facing. According to another additional characteristic of the process according to the invention, the insufflated insulating material consists of cellulose wadding. The advantages and characteristics of the insulation method according to the invention will become more clearly apparent from the description which follows and which refers to the appended drawing, which represents a non-limiting embodiment thereof. In the accompanying drawing: - Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view with partial cutaway, a thermally insulated wall according to the method object of the present invention. - Figure 2 shows a partial schematic sectional view along a horizontal plane of the same wall. With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, there can be seen a wall 1 intended to be thermally insulated through the method according to the invention. According to the invention, a structure 2 made of wood is produced by means of the rafters 20 arranged vertically, regularly spaced and secured to the wall 1 by means of brackets 10 which make it possible to keep the rafters 2 at a certain distance from the wall 1, that is to say by providing a space E.

It should be noted that, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the brackets 10 are of the length-adjustable type, that is to say that they each comprise a portion 11 that can be fixed to the wall 1, and a part 12 that can be fixed to a chevron 20, and that the two parts are assembled to one another with the possibility of sliding against each other, while a screw 13 can immobilize them according to the desired space E. The structure 2 is peripherally bordered by lower and upper edge planks 22 fixed perpendicularly to the ends of the rafters 20, and lateral edge planks 23 fixed to the extreme chevrons 20 of the structure 2, and which are of a width equal to the width rafters 20 increased the value of E, so as to create a peripheral frame. Furthermore, plates 24 made of stiff or semi-rigid synthetic material of small thickness are fixed on the internal rafters 20 of the structure 2, so as to make the junction between the rafters 20 and the wall 1, that is, that is to say to fill the space E, and thus to make between each a compartment 21 closed peripherally by laterally by a plate 24 or a board of edge 23, and superiorly and inferiorly by a board of edge 22.

The next step of the method consists in closing the compartments 21 by covering the structure 2 with a rain screen 3, applied on the outer edge 25 of the rafters 20, and fixed by means of counter battens 4 secured to the rafters 20. After the compartments 21 have been made, a cut-out is made in each of these and in the upper part to create a hole 30 allowing the introduction of an insufflation pipe F for the purpose of injecting into the compartment an insulating material. in bulk M. The material M may consist of various materials, preferably it consists of a material of the wadding. After filling the compartments 21, the holes 30 are closed, and then fixed on the battens 4 a facing 5 while providing a vacuum V between the rain cover 3 and the facing 5, the latter can be in various forms , a cladding for example. The method according to the invention makes it possible to obtain good insulation from the outside, of adjustable thickness through the brackets 10, and which, despite the subdivision remains uniform, without interruption if it is not the plates 24. The process is more easy and fast implementation.
