DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to the field of shoring towers or other vertical structures for the execution of temporary work and resting mainly on the ground, mainly comprising pre-assembled elements and has for object a safety fork intended to be mounted at the head of a shoring tower. It also relates to a shoring tower equipped with at least one such safety fork. It is known that a shoring tower has the function of primarily serving to resume the descent of loads and can occasionally serve as a workstation at height. It forms a vertical structure generally composed, on the one hand, of poles and braces or other similar structures ensuring its stability and, on the other hand of support parts, commonly known as forks, each placed at the head of a pole and intended each to withstand, with anti-spill lateral blocking, a long and rigid piece of the spar or beam type, usually serving as a support for a decking on which concrete is poured or for a slab or a slab, for example a balcony or terrace. Such a fork usually comprises a support plate whose one of the large or flat, continuous upper faces or upper surface constitutes a bearing surface extending, in the mounted state, substantially horizontally and serving as a support for a spar, a crosses, a beam or any other similar piece intended to take back loads. It further comprises side anti-spill or angle-retaining elements, of angle-of-angle or angle-angle type, extending substantially perpendicular to said bearing surface and each being sufficiently high and resistant to maintain effectively, possibly with additional wedging, said beam on the support surface so as to prevent its spill or its detachment of said fork and thus its fall from the top of the shoring tower. It also comprises means for fixing said fork, of the interlocking or threaded rod type, at the head of the concerned pole, possibly via means for adjusting the height. -2- Furthermore, this type of fork is usually associated with a screw jack, dissociated or integrated from any room with the fork, or other system allowing its height adjustment at the head of the pole concerned However, the presence of people on the decking, or other floor extending over the forks, may be required to perform work or to permit access to that elevation along the masonry structure under construction. These people then move to the top of the shoring tower by carrying out work on a high floor with a significant risk of falling, the consequence of which is often serious.
However, the shoring towers, or other similar vertical structures that currently affect the execution of temporary work, do not include obstacles or barriers in the edges of the vacuum at the top of said towers, particularly above the forks, allowing to prevent the fall of persons or, to a lesser extent, of objects handled by them. The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a safety fork for shoring tower for fixing one or more barriers to support height forming a vacuum guard, for example of the guardrail type.
