The present invention relates to a positioning jig 5 for fixing a piece of equipment on a bodywork element of a vehicle, and to an installation equipped with such a jig. The positioning templates are used in particular for bonding a piece of equipment to a body part to ensure a geometrically compliant application of the piece of equipment against the body part. In this regard, it is known from the state of the art, in particular JP 2002193157, to use an alignment tool comprising a frame comprising a support member of the piece of equipment on the frame. The position of the tool on the body member and the position of the piece of equipment on the tool are predetermined so that the piece of equipment is positioned against a preselected area of the body member. to secure it by gluing. By predetermining the position of the tool on the bodywork element and the position of the piece of equipment on the tool, such a tool of the state of the art can not therefore adapt to different types of body parts and / or different types of equipment parts, making this tool unsustainable. In addition, if the body member and / or the piece of equipment have geometric disparities, such a tool can no longer provide a geometrically compliant application of the piece of equipment against the body member. The object of the present invention is to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks and to this end consists in a positioning jig for fixing a piece of equipment on a bodywork element of a vehicle, said jig having a chassis comprising at least a support member for supporting at least a portion of the piece of equipment on the frame, characterized in that the template comprises adjustment means in position of the or each support member on the frame. The presence of such adjustment means is intended to position the piece of equipment against the bodywork element by avoiding potential geometrical disparities of both the body part and the piece of equipment. In addition, these adjustment means make this template easily adaptable to different types of body elements and / or different types of equipment parts. According to one characteristic of the invention, the adjustment means comprise first adjustment means along a first axis. Thus, each support member has a first degree of freedom along the first axis. In one embodiment, the first adjustment means comprise a base on which each support member is mounted, the base being movable in translation on the frame along the first axis. Such a base allows a continuous adjustment of the position of each support member on the frame along the first axis. Preferably, the base is fixedly mounted on a clamping clamp movable in translation on the frame along the first axis. Thus, such a clamp in loosened position can be translated continuously on the frame along the first axis. Advantageously, the first adjustment means comprise at least one holding hook mounted on at least one support member, the hook being intended to hold the equipment piece in position on the frame along the first axis. Such a support hook facilitates the adjustment in position of each support member on the frame along the first axis, preventing a clean movement of the piece of equipment along this first axis. According to another characteristic, the adjustment means comprise second adjustment means along a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis. Thus, each support member has two degrees of freedom 30 along the first and second axes. Advantageously, the second adjustment means comprise means for sliding each support member on the base along the second axis. Thus, such sliding means allow continuous adjustment of the position of each support member on the frame along the second axis.
According to one embodiment, the sliding means comprise a groove formed in each support member, and shaped to receive the base. The presence of such a groove makes it easy and inexpensive to slide each member on the base. According to another characteristic, the adjustment means comprise third adjustment means along a third axis substantially perpendicular to the first and second axes. Thus, each support member has three degrees of freedom along the first, second and third axes. According to one embodiment, the third adjustment means comprise at least one shim arranged to support at least a portion of the base. In one embodiment, each support member has a rotational free cylinder for forming a cylindrical surface section bearing surface for the part of the piece of equipment. Thus, the piece of equipment resting on each support member can be slid easily, thereby facilitating possible maneuvers of the piece of equipment when it is cumbersome. In one embodiment, the template according to the invention further comprises removable fixing means intended to temporarily fix the frame on the bodywork element. These removable attachment means make it possible to give the template good stability on the bodywork element. According to a first embodiment, the removable fixing means comprise indexing pins intended to cooperate with at least one buttonhole equipping the bodywork element. According to a second embodiment, the removable attachment means comprise at least one suction cup intended to form a flat support 30 against the bodywork element. Preferably, the template according to the invention further comprises means for gripping the chassis. The gripping means facilitate the implementation of the template on the bodywork element. The present invention also relates to an installation for fixing a piece of equipment on a bodywork element of a vehicle, preferably the gluing of a hubcap on a trunk flap, said installation comprising: - a positioning jig according to the invention, - an equipment element disposed in abutment on each support member. The invention will be better understood from the description which follows, with reference to the attached schematic drawing showing by way of non-limiting example, an embodiment of this template. Figure 1 is a perspective view of this template equipping a vehicle trunk flap. Figure 2 is an enlarged perspective view of two support members of this template. The template illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a metal frame 1 of tubular shape arranged opposite a vehicle tailgate 2. The frame 1 has a lower cross-member 10, of substantially square cross section, extending in the direction of a first longitudinal Y axis, an upper cross-member 11 extending in the direction of the first Y axis and connected to the lower cross member 10 by two first uprights 12, 12 and an intermediate cross member 12 extending in the direction of the first axis Y and connected to the lower cross member 10 and the upper cross member 11 by two second amounts 13 arched. "Longitudinal" means a direction oriented along the length of the tailgate 2. In addition, the template comprises five support members 3 for supporting a piece of equipment (not shown), such as a hubcap. boot flap 2, for example a chrome snap ring. Each support member 3 has a body 30 of substantially parallelepiped shape on which is rotatably mounted a cylinder of revolution 31 about a second axis X transverse. "Transverse" means a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction oriented along the length of the trunk flap 2. The revolution cylinder 31 extends in the direction of the second axis X and forms a bearing surface in the form of cylindrical surface section for the piece of equipment. It should be noted that a support member 3, located at one end of the lower crossmember 10 of the frame, is provided with a holding hook 32 intended to keep the piece of equipment in position on the frame 1 according to the direction of the first axis Y. The hook 32 is mounted at the free end of the revolution cylinder 31. Moreover, this support member 3 is provided with a rod 33 whose ends are respectively connected to the body 30 of this support member 3 and the hook 32. The rod 51 thus makes it possible to block the hook 32 in rotation. Moreover, each support member 3 is mounted on a base 4 extending in the direction of the second axis X. Each base 4 is fixedly mounted. on a clamp 5 by means of fixing screws (not shown). These screws are intended to be inserted into tapped orifices 50 formed on the base 4. The flanges 5, in the unclamped position, are movable in translation on the lower crossmember 10 of the chassis 1 in the direction of the first axis Y. The flanges 5 thus form first adjustment means according to the first axis Y. More specifically, each support member 3 is slidably mounted on the base 4 in the direction of the second axis X. To do this, a groove 300 is formed in the body 30 of the support member 3. The groove 300 is shaped to receive the base 4. The grooves 300 thus form second adjustment means along the second axis X. Furthermore, the lower cross member 10 of the frame 1 is provided five shims 100 forming an adjustable support for each base 4 in the direction of a third axis Z vertical. The wedges 100 thus form third adjustment means along the third axis Z. In addition, the upper cross member 11 of the frame 1 has, at each of its ends, first and second indexing pions cooperating respectively with an orifice and with a buttonhole formed in an upper part of the tailgate 2. From the perspective, the indexing pins, the hole and the buttonhole are not visible in the figures. On the one hand, the intermediate crosspiece 12 is equipped with tubes 120 extending in the direction of the third axis Z. These tubes 120 form gripping means of the template. On the other hand, the intermediate cross member 12 is equipped with suction cups 121 forming a flat support against the tailgate 2. When an operator wishes to stick a hubcap on a predetermined zone 35 of the tailgate 2, one side is provided with an adhesive film, the operator first temporarily fixes the template on the boot flap 2 with the first and second indexing pawns cooperating respectively with the orifice and the buttonhole formed in the upper part of the flap trunk 2, and with the suction cups 121 in plane support on the tailgate 2. Then the operator moves the flanges 5 so that the support members 3 are distributed on the lower cross member 10 of the frame 1 according to the direction of the first axis Y so as to distribute substantially uniformly the weight of the hubcap on the support members 3, when the hubcap is bearing on the support members 3. Then, the operator adjusts the height of s calles 100 along the third axis Z as a function of the height of the predetermined zone. In addition, the operator moves each support member 3 on its base 4 in the direction of the second axis X so that the revolution cylinders 31 of the support members 3 abut against the predetermined zone of the tailgate 2.
Then, the operator removes the adhesive film from the hubcap and comes to position the hubcap bearing on the cylinders of revolution 31 of the support members 3, the face provided with the adhesive film being opposite the predetermined zone of the tailgate 2. When positioning the hubcap on the revolution cylinders 31, the hubcap is held in position in the direction of the first axis Y with the hook 32. Finally, the operator can press the hubcap against the predetermined area to glue the hubcap. Of course, the embodiment of the invention described above has no limiting character. Details and improvements can be made in other embodiments without departing from the scope of the invention.
