Abstract
Un démarreur (1) inclut un solénoïde électromagnétique (8) qui génère une force pour pousser un pignon (6) vers un côté de couronne dentée (24), et un commutateur électromagnétique (10) qui ouvre et ferme un point de contact de moteur (32, 33). Lorsqu'un arrêt au ralenti est effectué, une ECU (2) excite un enroulement de solénoïde (14) du solénoïde électromagnétique (8) pendant une rotation inertielle jusqu'à ce que la couronne dentée (24) arrête de tourner. Après que la rotation d'un moteur a été arrêtée, l'ECU (2) stoppe l'excitation de l'enroulement de solénoïde 14. Il en résulte, dans le démarreur 1, que le pignon (6) peut s'engrener avec la couronne dentée (24) qui tourne par inertie sans utilisation de la force de rotation d'un moteur (3). L'état engrené peut être maintenu même après que l'excitation de l'enroulement de solénoïde 14 a été stoppée.
