Un masque (M) est destiné à faire partie d'un bloc optique (BO) de véhicule automobile comportant au moins un réflecteur (R) défini par au moins une paroi (PR) qui assure au moins partiellement une fonction photométrique. Ce masque (M) comprend un bord périphérique (BP) comportant en au moins un endroit (EM), qui est destiné à être sensiblement au contact d'une zone choisie (ZR) de la paroi (PR), une excroissance (EX) destinée à prolonger vers l'avant la paroi (PR) au niveau de sa zone choisie (ZR).
