Abstract

The envelope has a front panel and a bottom panel (7) adjacent to lower edge (3b), where the panels are provided with front lateral flaps (9a, 9b) and bottom lateral flaps (11a, 11b), respectively. Each bottom flap is remotely interrupted from a top line such that the bottom panel has sudden change of direction i.e. shoulder, on each lateral edges of the bottom flap and at place of each bottom flap interrupt, and the envelope is deployed. The change of direction is closer to its width than width formed between two lateral edges (3c, 3d) of the envelope.

Description

Le domaine de l'invention est celui des enveloppes a priori de papier. Il existe des enveloppes présentent extérieurement, dans un état plié d'utilisation, un bord supérieur, un bord inférieur, chacun définis par une unique ligne de pliure, et des premier et second bords latéraux opposés. Ces enveloppes comprennent typiquement un panneau 10 avant et un panneau de fond adjacents l'un à l'autre le long dudit bord inférieur. Le panneau avant, qui est pourvu de rabats latéraux avant intercalés entre lui et le panneau de fond, présente, dans ledit état plié, une bande 15 supérieure recouverte par un volet de fermeture de l'enveloppe pour son expédition qui s'étend, sans pliure, jusqu'au dit bord supérieur, lequel est adjacent au panneau de fond. Un problème concerne la rigidité de ces 20 enveloppes. Or, étant rangées verticalement par lots, elles peuvent avoir tendance à gondoler ou se vriller (tuiler dans le jargon), ce qui altère leurs conditions de stockage et leur présentation. Une solution économique et performante propose que 25 le panneau de fond soit pourvu de rabats latéraux de fond fixés respectivement aux rabats latéraux avant et interposés entre ces derniers et le panneau de fond, dans ledit état plié d'utilisation de l'enveloppe. Il est de préférence souhaité que l'ampleur de 30 l'ouverture de l'enveloppe soit par ailleurs maîtrisée pour qu'elle ne baille pas excessivement dans cette situation, tout en recherchant le maximum de rigidité latérale. Dans ce but, on propose que les rabats latéraux avant ou de fond soient fixés au panneau de fond ou au 5 panneau avant, dans ledit état plié. Il est en outre proposé que, parallèlement audit bord supérieur, les rabats latéraux de fond aient une largeur différente de celle des rabats latéraux avant. Ainsi, on va pouvoir essentiellement rigidifier 10 les premier et second bords latéraux de l'enveloppe, tout en diminuant progressivement cette rigidification en direction du centre pour favoriser en particulier l'introduction des plis. Un problème par ailleurs pris en compte concerne 15 la meilleure manière de fixer les rabats à l'un ou l'autre des panneaux avant ou de fond. Pour cela, il est proposé que ceux des rabats latéraux de fond ou des rabats latéraux avant qui ont la largeur la plus importante soient seuls fixés au panneau 20 avant ou au panneau de fond, dans ledit état plié. Et pour adopter une solution jugée économiquement la plus performante, eu égard aux machines de découpe des feuilles vierges habituellement disponibles, on conseille que seuls ceux des rabats latéraux de fond ou des rabats 25 latéraux avant qui ont la largeur la plus importante soient liés à la fois au panneau avant ou au panneau de fond et respectivement auxdits rabats latéraux de moindre largeur, dans ledit état plié. En particulier pour favoriser les conditions de 30 fabrication de l'enveloppe ici préférée et tirer le meilleur parti de celles-ci, on conseille en outre que : - ceux des rabats latéraux de fond ou des rabats latéraux avant qui ont la largeur la plus importante soient chacun limités latéralement par un bord rectiligne parallèle audit premier bord ou second bord latéral de l'enveloppe, - lesdits rabats de largeur moindre soient chacun limités latéralement par un bord non parallèle audit premier bord ou second bord latéral de l'enveloppe. Une description encore plus détaillée de l'invention, en particulier via un mode privilégié de réalisation, va maintenant être présentée, permettant de révéler d'autres caractéristiques et avantages, et ce en référence à des dessins où : - la figure 1 montre une enveloppe conforme à l'invention, pliée et fermée par son volet de fermeture, - la figure 2 montre l'enveloppe non encore fermée, - la figure 3 montre l'enveloppe à plat, totalement dépliée, - la figure 4 montre l'enveloppe à plat, avec ses rabats 20 latéraux repliés, - la figure 5 montre l'enveloppe partiellement dépliée, - la figure 6 montre le détail VI, et - les figures 7,8 montrent des enveloppes conditionnées verticalement, prêtes à l'emploi. 25 Le mode de réalisation de l'enveloppe des figures 1 et suivantes est donc préféré. Il offre les avantages et/ou résout les problèmes cités. Toutefois, on se reporta au texte d'introduction qui précède la présentation des figures pour les élargissements 30 possibles de certains aspects du type d'enveloppe imaginé. An economical and efficient solution proposes that the bottom panel be provided with bottom side flaps respectively fixed to the front side flaps and interposed between the latter and the bottom panel, in said folded state of use of the envelope. It is preferably desired that the extent of opening of the casing is otherwise controlled so that it does not chatter excessively in this situation, while seeking maximum lateral rigidity. For this purpose, it is proposed that the front or bottom side flaps are attached to the bottom panel or to the front panel, in said folded state. It is furthermore proposed that parallel to said upper edge, the bottom side flaps have a width different from that of the front side flaps. Thus, it will be possible to substantially stiffen the first and second side edges of the envelope, while gradually decreasing this stiffening towards the center to promote in particular the introduction of folds. Another problem that is considered is the best way to attach the flaps to one or the other of the front or bottom panels. For this, it is proposed that those bottom side flaps or front side flaps that have the largest width are only attached to the front panel or the bottom panel, in said folded state. And in order to adopt a solution considered economically the most efficient, with regard to the blank sheet cutting machines usually available, it is advised that only those of the bottom side flaps or the front side flaps which have the largest width are related to the once to the front panel or to the bottom panel and respectively to said lateral flaps of smaller width, in said folded state. In particular, in order to favor the conditions of manufacture of the envelope which is preferred here and to make the best use thereof, it is furthermore recommended that: those of the bottom side flaps or of the front side flaps which have the largest width are each laterally limited by a straight edge parallel to said first or second side edge of the envelope, - said flaps of smaller width are each laterally limited by an edge not parallel to said first edge or second side edge of the envelope. The embodiment of the envelope of Figures 1 and following is therefore preferred. It offers the advantages and / or solves the problems mentioned. However, reference is made to the introductory text which precedes the presentation of the figures for possible enlargements of certain aspects of the imagined envelope type.

Dans l'état déplié (à plat) de l'enveloppe de la figure 3, on voit que le panneau avant 5 est donc pourvu, sur trois côtés, des rabats latéraux avant 9a, 9b et du volet 13, respectivement, lesquels forment chacun une 30 patte pliable à l'endroit d'une ligne de pliure (a priori chacune réalisée lors de la fabrication, en même temps que les coupes) : 90a,90b,130 correspondant respectivement aux bords 3c,3d,3a. Sur le quatrième côté du panneau avant, on trouve la pliure 70 qui permet de rabattre le panneau de fond sur le panneau avant et de créer ainsi le bord 3b. La ligne de sommet 17 sera favorablement cintrée, concave, pour agrandir l'espace réservé au passage du pli à cet endroit, étant précisé que les bords 3a,3b,3c,3d (donc les lignes de pliures qui les définissent) sont a priori rectilignes et, étant adjacents, définissent un rectangle ; voir figure 1. Sur les illustrations (notamment fig.4), on note que, parallèlement aux bords 3a,3b, les rabats latéraux de fond 11a, 11b ont une largeur 11 (a priori inégale), partout inférieure à celle 12 (a priori constante) des rabats latéraux avant 9a,9b. Ceci est favorable à la fabrication des enveloppes qui passent alors en machine dans le sens de la flèche 50 ; voir figure 3. On note également sur ces figures que, favorablement : - les rabats latéraux avant 9a,9b sont chacun limités latéralement par un bord rectiligne, respectivement 19a,19b, parallèle audit premier bord ou second bord latéral (3c,3d) de l'enveloppe, - et les rabats latéraux de fond 11a, 11b sont, eux, chacun limités latéralement par un bord libre 190a,190b, non parallèle audit premier bord ou second bord latéral 3c, 3d de l'enveloppe, ces bords libres 190a,190b allant en divergeant en direction de la pliure 70 (bord inférieur 3b). Ainsi, on pourra créer un angle de dépouille de quelques degrés sur les bords 190a,190b, là où l'enveloppe (ici le panneau de fond) présente une largeur réduite (telles L2, L3 aux endroits marqués fig.3), en comparaison de celle L1 à l'endroit du panneau avant 5, là où l'enveloppe présente une largeur de préférence égale à celle de la feuille arrivant en entrée de machine pour la fabrication des enveloppes, dans le sens de défilement 50. Figure 3, on notera encore que, de préférence, les rabats latéraux de fond 11a,11b s'interrompent chacun à distance de la ligne de sommet 17, de sorte que, sur chacun de ses bords latéraux, le panneau de fond 7 présente alors, à l'endroit de chacune de ces interruptions, repérées 23a,23b, un changement brusque de direction (épaulement) qui rapproche sa largeur, telle L3, de celle L4 qu'elle présente entre lesdits premier et second bords latéraux 3c, 3d de enveloppe (fig.1). Figs.1,6, on voit que le collage consistera de préférence en des lignes de colle 25a,25b déposées continûment et respectivement sur chacun des rabats latéraux de fond lla,llb (face de ces rabats alors orientée vers le panneau avant et les rabats 9a,9b repliés) et, à proximité, sur la face intérieure 7a du panneau 7. On prévoira de préférence deux lignes parallèles entre elles et aux lignes 90a (3c) , 90b (3d) . La ligne interne 25b collera sur le rabat avant concerné 9a ou 9b plié. Ces lignes de colle, ou d'autres, pourraient, en alternative, être déposées sur l'intérieur de chacun des rabats latéraux avant 9a,9b pliés, en particulier sur la hauteur totale de ces rabats. Figure 6, on voit que la longueur h1 des traits de colle est plus importante que la hauteur des rabats latéraux de fond 11a, 11b, de sorte que les rabats 9a,9b pliés collent au panneau de fond 7, dans sa partie centrale 700, à la fois le long des rabats de fond (plus étroits) et dans leurs prolongements respectifs à l'endroit des coins 17a,17b adjacents/contigus à la ligne de sommet 17 (fig.4). On notera aussi que les bords latéraux de ces coins 17a,17b seront favorablement parallèles respectivement aux bords 190a,190b, avec alors le même angle de dépouille. Et chacun se terminera de préférence, longitudinalement, par un bord biaisé, tel celui repéré 191a pour le rabat 9a ou 111b pour le rabat 11a (fig.4), de sorte que, latéralement (de chaque côté), entre les rabats avant et de fond, de part et d'autre de la ligne de pliure unique 70, on peut noter la présence de creux sensiblement en V, 27a,27b, facilitant le pliage et la fixation des rabats, donc la finition des enveloppes. Avec tout ou partie des caractéristiques précitées, il va être possible d'éviter qu'une fois conditionnées en lots, comme montré figs.7,8, les enveloppes de l'invention disposées droites (telles celles repérées 1 fig.7) gauchissent comme tendent à le faire les enveloppes traditionnelles 100. Les doubles rabats 9a,9b,lla,llb les raidissent. On retrouve cet avantage même si on empile plusieurs lots, comme fig.8, quel que le conditionnement avec stockage sur la tranche retenu : boîte(s) carton ou, plastique(bac), conditionnement avec plaques d'extrémité, telles 30a,30b (solution PACK MAIL de GPV), autre. Claims

REVENDICATIONS1. A shell having externally, in folded-in condition, an upper edge (3a), a lower edge (3b), each defined by a single fold line, and first and second opposite side edges, and comprising a front panel ( 5) and a bottom panel (7) adjacent along said lower edge (3b), the front panel, which is provided with front side flaps (9a, 9b) interposed between it and the bottom panel, having, in said state folded, an upper band covered by a closing flap (13) of the envelope for its expedition which extends, without folding, to said upper edge (3a), which is adjacent to the bottom panel (7), characterized in that the bottom panel (7) is provided with bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) fixed respectively to the front side flaps (9a, 9b) and interposed between the latter and the bottom panel, in said state folded of use.

2. Envelope according to claim 1, characterized in that the front or bottom side flaps are fixed in front of the bottom panel (7) or the front panel (5) in said folded state.

3. Envelope according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, parallel to said upper edge, the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) have a width different from that of the front side flaps (9a, 9b).

4. Envelope according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, parallel to said upper edge, the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) have a width less than that of the front side flaps (9a, 9b).

5. Envelope according to claim 3, characterized in that those bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) or front side flaps (9a, 9b) which have the largest width are only fixed face to the front panel (5). ) or the bottom panel (7) in said folded state.

6. Envelope according to claim 4, characterized in that the front side flaps (9a, 9b) are fixed in front of the bottom panel (7), in said folded state.

Envelope according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that those bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) or front side flaps (9a, 9b) which have the largest width are glued to both the front panel. (5) or the bottom panel (7) and respectively to said side flaps of smaller width, in said folded state.

8. Envelope according to claim 6, characterized in that each front side flap (9a, 9b) is glued to the bottom panel (7) and to one of the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b), in said folded state .

Envelope according to claim 3 or claim 5, characterized in that: - those of the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) or front side flaps (9a, 9b) which have the largest width are each laterally limited by a straight edge (19a, 19b) parallel to said first edge or second side edge of the envelope, said flaps (9a, 9b or 11a, 11b) of smaller width are each laterally limited by a nonparallel edge (190a, 190b) at said first edge or second side edge of the envelope.

Envelope according to claim 4, 6 or 8, characterized in that: - the front side flaps (9a, 9b) are each limited laterally by a straight edge (19a, 19b) parallel to said first edge or second side edge of the the envelope, the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) are each limited laterally by an edge (190a, 190b) not parallel to said first edge (3c) or second edge (3d) lateral of the envelope, these two edges going diverging towards the lower edge (3b) of the casing, so as to define clearance angles.

Envelope according to claim 4, 6, 8 or 10, characterized in that: - between said first and second side edges (3c, 3d) of the envelope, the bottom panel (7) has a width (L4 ), this bottom panel is limited, in height, by the lower edge (3b) of the envelope and, on the opposite, by a crown line (17) which borders the opening (21) by which one can sliding a fold in the envelope, and the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) are each interrupted at a distance from this top line, so that, on each of its lateral edges, the bottom panel (7) presents at each of these interruptions, a sudden change of direction (23a, 23b) which approximates its width to that (L4) it has between said first and second side edges of the envelope.

Envelope according to claims 10 and 11, characterized in that: - the bottom side flaps (11a, 11b) each have a radius at the location of said interruptions (23a, 23b), - the closure flap also has lateral rays (13a, 13b); and the rake angles and these rays are studied so as to create a continuity of thickness on the envelope, in the closed folded state thereof.
