Abstract

The device has two derivation branches (1, 2) with T-shape, Y shape and U shape. A valve (3) is closed to deflect non polluted water towards a reserve when the device is in evacuation position, and directs the water towards the branches. The valve modifies the path of the water according to desire of user. The valve is opened to evacuate polluted water (6) towards a sewer when the device is in evacuation position. The valve is controlled by a handling mechanism (4) using a hand or foot. A return system (5) e.g. spring, ensures the return of the valve from its initial position.

Description

-~-- ~ -

The present invention relates to a device for directing the discharge of sinks, wash basins, baths or other household or industrial equipment using water, to a destination other than the sewer when the water, once used, is not not polluted. The device allows the recovery for a new use: garden watering, car wash ... or any other, as needed. The recovery can be done to a simple tank, or a tank, or even a pit. Usually, the housewife who wants to reuse the rinsing water of vegetables or linen or any other unpolluted water, is obliged to take out his bowl of the sink to pour it either in a reserve, or directly on its flowers. This manipulation is not practical and it is not possible to recover the water from sinks, bathtubs or washing machines. This device, according to the invention, overcomes this disadvantage by giving the possibility of connecting it to all kinds of evacuations and 15 to choose the destination of wastewater. It comprises, in fact, according to a first characteristic, a bypass which is fixed between the discharge outlet of the apparatus and the siphon and which has a valve which makes it possible to open or close one of the two branches of the diversion, according to the path that the water must follow.

A spring system automatically returns the valve to its first position, in order to avoid mistakenly removing polluted water to the reserve. The opposite error (forget to pass the unpolluted water to the reserve) is without consequence. According to the particular embodiments: - The derivation may be in the form of Greek Y, or T, or any other form - Depending on the shape of the derivation, the valve may alternately obstruct one or other of the two branches out of the bypass, or a single branch. A spring system always brings the valve back to its original position. The accompanying drawings illustrate the basic principle of the invention. Figure 1 shows in section the T-shaped base device in the position of evacuation of water to the sewer. The valve (3) closes the branch (2) of the branch, polluted water (6) passes through the branch (1). Figure 2 shows, in section, the same device in the position of evacuation towards a reserve. The valve (3) closes the branch (1), the unpolluted water (7) passes through the branch (2) Figure 3 shows, in section, the device in the shape of Greek Y in the evacuation position of the water to the sewer. The valve (3) is open and lets polluted water (6) into the branch (1) Figure 4 shows, in section, the same device in the water evacuation position to a reserve. The valve (3) is closed and the unpolluted water (7) back in the branch (2) Figure 5 shows, in section, but from the front, the same device in the discharge position of the polluted water (6 ) to the sewer. The valve (3) is open. FIG. 6 shows, in section and from the front, the device in the position of evacuation of the unpolluted water (7) towards a reserve. The valve (3) is closed. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a derivation in two branches (1) and (2). The assembly is provided with a valve (3) controlled by a mechanism (the manipulation (4) not visible in the drawing This valve directs the water towards one or other of the branches (1) or (2) A return system (5) that is not very visible, returns the valve to its original position 20 According to the particular embodiments that are not illustrated, the size of the branch may have different dimensions in order to adapt to the dimensions of the apparatus. The valve may be T, Y, U or any other form The valve may be operated by hand, foot, electric, with or without a programmer, electronically or chemically by immediate analysis of the valve. water and reaction causing its opening and closing The valve return system can be made in spring form but also in any other form, mechanical, electrical, electronic or chemical. The device, according to the invention is particularly intended to recover the water used or industrial, used but not polluted, to drive them in a reserve for the purpose of a new use.
