Abstract

The device (1) has a vertical fire pit (2) constituted by a heating chamber (3) defining a cooking zone. Description

 The invention relates to a cooking device, barbecue type, vertical fireplace.

The device can be used outdoors, operating in particular with charcoal or through other energies, such as electricity.

In general, horizontal barbecues are known. Food, including meats, sausages, merguez and others are based on a grid arranged horizontally and positioned above the fireplace, especially above embers or electrical resistance. When cooking food, fats and juices fall and burn in the home giving off carcinogenic odors and fumes.

We then know barbecues whose focus is vertical. The food is suspended vertically by means of hooks or grids able to grip the food, positioned relative to a vertical heating surface. A recovery tank collects fats and juices from food and ashes escaping from the fireplace.

However, the known vertical hearth barbecues still have a low success, in particular for the following reasons:

- They have a large footprint, - cooking accessories including hanging food can not be easily removed for cleaning,

The invention relates to a cooking device 1, barbecue type comprising:

a vertical hearth 2 consisting of a heat chamber 3 defining at least one cooking zone,
