Abstract
Description
Self-supporting gates or sliding gates on rails are very often used for the obstruction of the entrance passages of industrial sites. The self-supporting gates are in elevation relative to the ground and comprise a low beam which is cantilevered on at least one fixed point. The sliding rail gates also have a low beam provided with rollers that are provided to move along a rail fixed to the ground.
During the day the gates can be exposed laterally to solar radiation. As a result, the side faces of the gates are not similarly exposed to radiation. The time of conduction from one side to the other of the heat generated by the solar radiation can be long, for example, about ten minutes, for large gates. This temperature difference between the two faces may be permanent depending on the exposure to solar radiation and cause an expansion and curvature effect of the aprons and, more specifically, the low beams of the gates due to a differential expansion of the two faces. The deformation of the low beams then impedes the smooth operation of the gates and, for example, in the case of sliding gates on rail, the curvature of the deck often induces a blockage of the gate during closure. In the case of self-supporting gates, the curvature of the deck requires the use of a receiving pole large enough to be able to receive it when it reaches the end of the race when obstructing the entrance. Despite the many advances and improvements made in the field of self-supporting gates or sliding gates on rail, no effective solution has been proposed so far to remedy this disadvantage. The object of the present invention is to provide a self-supporting gate or sliding rail provided for entry passage obstruction of variable length that is not sensitive to the effects of solar radiation and thus to existing temperature differences between the side faces of the portal. For this purpose, a self-supporting gate or slide rail according to the invention is of the type which comprises an apron whose base is constituted by a low beam and is remarkable in that it comprises insulating walls arranged laterally on the side and side. other of said low beam over the entire length of said low beam and 2904359 2 provided to absorb thermal expansion differentials with said low beam. The low beam thus protected from solar radiation by said insulating walls no longer has a curvature preventing the proper operation of the gate. The insulating walls in addition to their insulation function make it possible to provide an aesthetic advantage to the self-supporting portal or sliding gate on a rail.
According to one characteristic of the invention, said low beam is composed of two units, an upper unit and a lower unit. This configuration makes it possible to promote the conduction of heat from one side face of the low beam to the other so as to reduce the temperature differences between the lateral faces and thus contributes to eliminating the risk of curvature of the low beam. According to another characteristic of the invention, each of said insulating walls is composed of at least one floating wall module with respect to said beam. In the present invention, the term floating means the expansion capacity of a wall module, due to the absorption of thermal expansion differentials with said low beam, resulting in a longitudinal free sliding movement of said wall module relative to the low beam. According to a characteristic of the invention, each wall module comprises at each of its ends a transverse facade extending from its inner face and intended to be in contact with said low beam when said insulating walls are arranged laterally on the side and side. other of said low beam over its entire length.
According to one characteristic of the invention, each wall module comprises at least one means for fixing said low beam in a single longitudinal zone thereof. According to another characteristic of the invention, said fixing means is composed of at least one tongue protruding from one of said side walls of said wall module. Advantageously, each wall module further comprises at least one notch provided in the other side face of said wall module, said at least one notch of a wall module being provided for housing the at least one tab of a wall module. other wall module.
According to a feature of the invention, each wall module has a recess and an advance arranged at said ends respectively, said withdrawal of a wall module being provided to be disposed under said advancement of another wall module when said insulating walls are arranged laterally on either side of said low beam over its entire length. According to another characteristic of the invention, a self-supporting gate or sliding rail, according to the invention, further comprises a terminal module wall at each end of each of the insulating walls. Advantageously, said terminal wall module comprises at one of its ends a lateral facade disposed on the inner face of said terminal wall module and intended to be in contact with said low beam when said insulating walls are arranged laterally on the side and side. other of said low beam over its entire length. According to a characteristic of the invention, each wall terminal module comprises at least one means of attachment to said low beam. According to one embodiment of the invention, said fixing means is composed of at least one tongue having an opening provided for the passage of a fastening element such as a screw or a rivet, said one or more tongues making protruding from said facade towards the interior of said terminal wall module. According to a characteristic of the invention, each wall terminal module has an opening facing said opening of said tab or said tongue provided for the passage of a fastener element. According to one embodiment of the invention, each wall module has two surfaces intended to cover respectively a portion of the upper and lower faces of said low beam when said insulating walls are arranged laterally on either side of said low beam on the entire length.
The features of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will emerge more clearly on reading the following description of an exemplary embodiment, said description being given in relation to the attached drawings, among which: Fig. 1 is an exploded view of a self-supporting portal according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows a front plan view of a beam of a self-supporting portal according to the invention; Fig. 3 represents a slightly profile view of a module of an insulating wall according to the invention; 2904359 4 FIG. 4 is a plan view of the ends of two wall modules according to the invention; Fig. 5 is a slightly side view of a terminal module of an insulating wall according to the invention and; Fig. 6 shows a slightly front view of two end modules of an insulating wall according to the invention as manufactured. The self-supporting gate 1 according to the invention shown in FIG. 1 is composed of an apron 11 whose base consists of a low beam 10. The self-supporting gate 1 is exposed to sunlight on one of its faces, 10 as represented by the arrows. The low beam 10 consists of two units, 101 and 102 respectively, as shown in FIG. 2. The lower unit 101 is in the form of a rectangular hollow profile and open downwardly so as to allow the passage of a guide means (not shown) for the self-supporting gate 1 to slide.
This configuration of the low beam 10 into two units 101 and 102 improves the conduction of the heat from solar exposure from the exposed side face of the low beam to the unexposed side face. Indeed, the interface between the unit 101 and the unit 102 provides an extra thickness and thus a heat conduction zone 30 allowing the accelerated conduction of the heat of the faces 101.1 and 102.1 exposed to the unexposed faces 101.2 and 102.2 and thus the homogenization of the temperature of the low beam 10. This rapid homogenization of the temperature of the low beam 10 helps to avoid the deformation of the low beam 10 and therefore of the deck 11.
As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the self-supporting gate 1 further comprises means for isolating the low beam 10. This means is composed of two insulating walls 20 and 21, respectively, arranged laterally on either side of the low beam 10 and over its entire length. The insulating walls 20 and 21 are composed of wall modules 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206 and 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, respectively. The number of wall modules constituting the insulating walls 20 and 21 is a function of the length of the low beam 10. In this embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the length of the low beam 10 of the self-supporting gate is such that several wall modules are required.
Since the wall modules 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216 are all identical, only one of these modules will be described in the following. wall 211, for example. The wall module 211 comprises in a longitudinal zone at each of its ends 211A and 211B transverse facades 211.9 and 211.1, respectively, extending from its inner face 211.5 and intended to be in contact with the low beam 10 (FIG. 3). These transverse facades 211.9 and 211.1 have a shape complementary to the shape of the units 101 and 102 of the low beam 10 (see FIG. These transverse facades 211.9 and 211.1 make it possible to create a void 40 between the inner face 211.5 of the wall module 211 and the low beam 10 when the insulating wall 21 is disposed laterally on either side of the low beam 10. The empty space 40 contributes to the insulation of the low beam 10 and to homogenize the temperature of the low beam 10. As shown in FIG. 3, the wall module 211 comprises two fixing means 211.6 and 211.7 in the form of tongues protruding from the side wall 211.9 located in a longitudinal zone of the end 211A, and having openings 211.8 and 211.10 respectively , allowing the passage of a fastening element such as a screw so as to fix the module 211 on the low beam 10.
The side wall 211.1 of the end 211B has notches 211.2 and 211.3. Notches 212. 2 and 212.3 of the wall module 212 are provided to house the tongues 211.6 and 211.7 of another wall module, such as the wall module 211 (FIG 4). The junction of the module 212 and the module 211 is thus achieved by the penetration of the tongue 211.6 in the notch 212.2 and the tongue 211.7 in the notch 212.3. The junction of at least the wall modules 211 and 212 makes it possible to form the insulating wall 21. The heat due to the solar exposure being capable of inducing an expansion of the wall module 211, the notches 212.2 and 212.3 allow a movement free longitudinal sliding of the wall module 211 and therefore the tongues 211.6 and 211.7 in the notches 212.2 and 212.3, respectively (Fig.4). In this way, the wall modules 211 and 212 are floating relative to one another and thus one with respect to the low beam 10.
The wall module 212 also has a recess 212.4 and an advanced 212.11. The shrinkage 212.4 is intended to be disposed under the advancing 211.11 when the tabs 211. 6 and 211.7 of the wall module 211 are housed in the notches 212.2 and 212.3 of the wall module 212. The shrinkage 212.4 prevents a transverse movement of the module 212 and thus ensures its cohesion with the module 211. The wall module 211 has two surfaces 211.12 and 211.13 which are intended to cover respectively a portion of the upper face of the unit 102 and a portion of the lower face of the unit 101 when the insulating walls are disposed laterally on either side of the low beam 10 (Figs 2 and 3). Each of the ends of the insulating walls 20 and 21 is advantageously closed by a wall terminal module 207, 208 and 217, 218 respectively (see Fig. 1). The terminal modules 207, 208 and 217, 218 thus make it possible to cover the ends of the insulating walls 20 and 21 on the low beam 10. The wall modules 201 and 206, respectively the first and the last wall modules placed at the ends of the insulating wall 20, and the wall modules 211 and 216, respectively the first and the last: Either wall modules placed at the ends of the insulating wall 21, can be cut in their length so as to adjust the length of the insulating walls 20 and 21 to the length of the low beam 10. In this case, they will be truncated of one of their side faces and will not present notches or fixing means. As shown in FIG. 5, the wall module 211, which is the first module of the insulating wall 21 to be fixed on the low beam 10, is capped by a wall terminal module 217. The wall terminal module 217 comprises, at a single its ends, in a longitudinal zone and on its inner face 217.5, a lateral facade 217.1 (Figs 5 and 6). This is intended to be brought into contact with the low beam 10 when the insulating wall 21 is disposed laterally on either side of the low beam 10.
The side wall 217.1 of the wall terminal module 217 has two fixing means 217.2 and 217.3 to the low beam 10 in the form of tongues. These latter protrude from the lateral facade 217.1 towards the interior of the wall terminal module 217 and include openings 217.6 and 217.7, respectively, provided for the passage of a fastening element such as a screw 2904359 7 allowing fixing the terminal module 217 on the low beam 10. The wall terminal module 217 also has the openings 217.8 and 217.9 facing the openings 217.7 and 217.6 in order to allow the screws to pass during the mounting of the insulating wall 21 on the 10, the wall terminal module 217 is first fixed to the low beam 10 (Fig. 1) Fastening elements, for example, screws, are passed through the openings 217.8 and 217.9 and are then housed in the apertures 217.7 and 217.6, respectively, the module 211 may be truncated from its side face 211.1 which has the notches 211.2 and 211.3 so as to adjust the length of the insulating wall 21 relative to the length of the the low beam 10. It is then arranged so that its end 211B is disposed inside the terminal module 217, against the internal face 217.5 of the terminal module 217, as shown in FIG. 5. In this way, the openings 217.6 and 217.7 are obstructed and hide the screws which secure the terminal module 217. The wall module 211 is then itself fixed on the low beam 10 by means of its fixing means 211.6 and 211.7. . Screws are housed in the openings 211.8 and 211.10 and then screwed on the low beam 10. The wall module 212 is in turn arranged. The fastening elements 211.6 and 211.7 are housed respectively in the notches 212.2 and 212.3 of the module 212. The mounting continues thus for the following wall modules 213, 214, 215 and 216 which are thus oriented in the same direction since the means 20 of mounting a module are housed in the notches of the next module. The wall module 216, the last mounted wall module, is capped by the terminal module 218, in the same manner as the module 211 shown in FIG. 5. It is truncated from its end 216A whose side face 216.9 has the fastening means 216.6 and 216.7. Indeed, the terminal module 218 does not have notches provided to house the fastening means 216.6 and 216.7. Screws are then passed through openings 218.8, 218.9 so as to be accommodated in openings 218.8, 218.9. The mounting of the insulating wall 20 is made in the same way. Advantageously and as illustrated in FIG. 6, the terminal modules 217, 218 and 207, 208 can be manufactured in pairs in the same mold. It is then sufficient to separate them along a demarcation line 50. The insulating walls 20 and 2]. thus allow to isolate the low beam 10 of solar radiation.
