Description
VETEMENT NOTAMMENT POUR LA PRATIQUE D'UN SPORTCLOTHING IN PARTICULAR FOR THE PRACTICE OF A SPORT
The present invention relates to a garment especially for the practice of sport, for transferring and conveying the perspiration emitted by the wearer of said garment. Already known multilayer clothing whose function is to improve the thermal comfort of the wearer. These garments, generally jackets or suits, have a complex structure comprising in particular a lining and an outer layer coated with a breathable waterproof membrane between which are arranged one or more layers of material so as to form a network enabling transport perspiration to open areas of clothing on the outside: the sleeves, neck or bottom of the garment, and possibly through perforations in the outer layer, necessary to allow perspiration to evaporate because the coating of The breathable membrane type considerably inhibits this phenomenon. We find such a type of clothing for example in EP 1.194.049.B1. In addition, these clothes by their complex structure are expensive and therefore intended for particular applications. Indeed this type of thick clothing is appropriate when the wearer seeks protection against the cold 20 (example: skier) or fire (example: racing driver) or a liquid impermeability. There was therefore a need for a lightweight clothing, inexpensive, suitable for the practice of sport and improving the thermal comfort of the wearer. For this purpose, the subject of the present invention is a garment, in particular for practicing a sport comprising: at least one first zone of hydrophobic type; at least one second zone; at least one channel formed in a hydrophilic material extending between said first and second zones, so as to transfer the transpiration emitted into the first zone into the second zone. It is understood by hydrophilic or hydrophobic pa more or less important capacity than a textile to absorb water, regardless of the chemical nature of the fibers that compose it and their method of binding, including knitting. For example, cotton has a water uptake relative to its initial weight of about 10% at 20 C against 1% for conventional polyester. Sweat is about 99% water and 1% mineral salts. The term "channel" designates a hollow or solid body which serves as a duct, with a wall of a given thickness in the case of a hollow channel, and having a given internal volume. By solid channel is meant a channel filled or partially filled with a hydrophilic material. In the first zone, the hydrophobic materials are in contact with the skin; the sweat released by the body, which is hardly absorbed by the hydrophobic materials, remains in contact with the skin creating an unpleasant sensation. Because of the channel which extends into the first zone, the sweat is in some way pumped and conveyed in said channel, because of the absorption capacity thereof and by a natural phenomenon of capillarity inherent in the textile materials. Thus, the channel behaves like a wick, which transfers the sweat out of the first zone. Gravity can also speed up the transfer when the channel extends below the first zone. When transferring sweat into the channel, a certain amount of sweat is evaporated into the atmosphere. The said at least one second zone may be hydrophobic or hydrophilic depending on the application of the garment, the amount of sweat secreted and whether it is desired to transfer the sweat into the said second zone of the garment. In a variant, said at least one second zone is of hydrophilic type. When all the sweat can not be removed via the evaporation channel, it accumulates in said second hydrophilic type zone from which it can evaporate. Preferably, the garment is monolayer, especially of the type short or long-sleeved shirt, tank top, shorts, pants or any other light, comfortable clothing, substantially adjusted or sticky to the wearer's skin. If the garment is not sufficiently in contact with the skin, part of the perspiration may flow along the body without being absorbed by the channels and / or said second zones when they are hydrophilic type. It usually has several channels on its back side and / or its face side. Preferably, the channels are on its face, that is to say towards the outside of the wearer in order to keep sweat away from the skin. As many channels and so-called first and second zones are arranged according to the desired comfort and aesthetics aimed especially when the channels are on the face of the garment since they are visible. In an alternative embodiment, said at least first hydrophobic type 1 o zone is intended to cover an area of the body where perspiration is considered troublesome, selected from the following areas: the top, the middle and the bottom of the column vertebral, the middle of the chest, the middle of the belly, the crotch and the middle of the buttocks. It will preferably be chosen to place the hydrophobic-type zones of the said garment on the areas of the body where the wearer 15 transpires the most and / or the latter is felt to be the most troublesome. In an alternative embodiment, said at least second hydrophilic type zone is intended to cover an area of the body where perspiration is considered less troublesome, chosen from the following areas: the lateral zones of the body whether on the upper body (flanks and hips) and the 20 legs. In contrast to the choice of hydrophobic type zones, it will be chosen to place the hydrophilic type zones of the garment on the areas of the body where the wearer transpires the least and / or where the latter is felt to be less troublesome. Of course, the arrangement and the number of the hydrophilic and hydrophobic zones can be adapted to the conditions of use of said garment: on the top or the bottom of the body, depending on the sex of the wearer and the type of sport practiced. In an alternative embodiment, said at least one channel comprises at least one branch. Thus, a channel starting from a first zone of hydrophobic type and having a branch, can extend to several second zones. This arrangement makes it possible to collect more sweat on an area of the body where perspiration is in excess and to distribute it to several of the second zones. The channel being less loaded with sweat, evaporation is accelerated. This effect is also achievable by leaving two distinct channels of a first zone of hydrophobic type, each ending in one or two distinct zones of preferably hydrophilic type.
The branches also make it possible to adjust the aesthetics of the garment which is an important criterion since the garment is generally worn alone. In addition, the channels, branched or not, are not necessarily oriented vertically to the wearer. They can be oriented substantially horizontally of said wearer, for example a channel can leave the middle of the belly and 1 o end on one of the sides or flanks of the wearer. In an alternative embodiment, at least one channel has a longitudinal opening, possibly continuous, giving on the inside of the garment. Said opening opens on the inside of the garment that is to say on the skin of the wearer all along the said channel or on a portion of determined length. This opening facilitates the transfer of sweat into the said channel, and its evaporation from it since a physical barrier is less to cross; moreover, it removes sweat from the skin. This arrangement is particularly advantageous for the first zone to improve the thermal comfort of the wearer since the feeling of moisture on the skin is attenuated or suppressed. In the second zone to which the sweat is conveyed, the channel or channels may not have a longitudinal opening, the function of removing sweat from the wearer's skin being less sought after. The channels may also have a longitudinal opening, possibly continuous, facing the outside of the garment. In this case, the channels are in contact with the skin of the wearer and therefore do not remove the sweat thereof but ensure their role of transferring the sweat between the first and second areas of the garment. Preferably, the channel is in a shape close to a hollow cylinder, of outside diameter in the range [2mm; 12mm], preferably equal to 6 mm, with a continuous longitudinal opening over all or part of its length. The length of said channel is a function of the distance between the zones to be connected and the size of the garment. In an alternative embodiment, the channel or channels, branched or not, are reported on one of the faces of the garment, or between at least two textile panels by gluing, ultrasonic welding or sewing. In an alternative embodiment, the channel or channels, branched or not, are preformed in at least one textile panel from which the garment is made. The preforming operation takes place in a conventional manner: the textile panel made of hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials is stamped on a heating press allowing the three-dimensional shaping of the hydrophilic type zones provided for the channels. The preforming operation is preferably on textile panels of synthetic materials. The channels obtained by this technique have a continuous longitudinal opening. In an alternative embodiment, the channel or channels, branched or not, are integrated into the garment, during knitting of the textile panel from which is made said garment. In an alternative embodiment, the knitted channels have a longitudinal opening totally or partially closed by floats of elastic threads. During knitting, the elastic floats are energized. When the knitted panel is in the relaxed state, the retraction of the floats causes the deformation of the portion of knit between the ends of the floats, related to other meshes, deformation which results in the formation of the channel. By adjusting the number of floats, the opening of the channel is more or less closed off, and the transfer of the sweat in said channel is slowed or facilitated either when the floats of threads are clisposed on the wearer's side of the garment, or evaporation of sweat when the floats are on the opposite side to the wearer. In addition, the floats son are hydrophilic type. The garment is preferably obtained by assembling textile panels, made of hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials, by sewing or any other equivalent means.
In an alternative embodiment, the total surface of the hydrophobic zone or zones of the garment is greater than the total surface area of the hydrophilic zone or zones. In an alternative embodiment, the hydrophilic zones consist of textile panels composed of hydrophilic polyester and / or polyamide and / or cotton tanclis hydrophobic zones consist of textile panels composed of polyester or polypropylene. In an alternative embodiment, the yarns of the textile panels constituting the said first and second zones have their hydrophilic or hydrophobic character accentuated by chemical finishes. The invention will be better understood on reading exemplary embodiments, cited in a non-limiting manner and illustrated by the accompanying drawings in which: FIG. is a schematic front view of a first example of garment according to the present invention of the tank top type; Figure 2 is a schematic back view of a garment according to the present invention; FIG. 3 is a schematic view of section III-III of FIG. 2; - Figure 4 is a schematic front view of a second example of garment according to the present invention of short type. In the first embodiment which is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the garment 1 is of the tank top type. It is a monolayer garment obtained by assembling simple knitted textile panels. It has first zones of hydrophobic type and second zones of hydrophilic type. The second zones are said to be hydrophilic because they have, on their inner face, a higher water absorption capacity than the first so-called hydrophobic zones and vice versa. More precisely on the illustrated tank top, there are five first hydrophobic zones 2,3,12,13,14 and six second zones 4,5,10,11,15,16. The skidder 1 also has four branchless channels 6,7,8,9 which are symmetrical two-by-two with respect to the vertical plane of symmetry YY 'of the skidder 1. The symmetry of the channels with respect to the YY axis facilitates garment making since fewer different panels are to be assembled when each first or second area corresponds to a given panel. The hydrophilic channel 6 absorbs the sweat secreted at a first zone, for example the first zone 2, located in the middle of the wearer's chest and the vehicle to a second zone, for example the second zone 4 located on the side or right flank of the wearer. The channel 7 captures the sweat in the first zone 2 corresponding to the middle of the chest, it is then conveyed to a second zone on the left flank 5 of the wearer. The channels 8 and 9 separately capture the sweat in the first zone 3 corresponding to the middle of the wearer's belly and convey it to the second zones 10, 11 corresponding to the hips. The sweat conveyed towards the second zones, according to its quantity, remains in the channels and / or is absorbed in the said second zones 4,5,10,11. Thus the sweat evaporates from the channels or said second zones of the hydrophilic type. Figure 2 shows the back of the tank top. The first zones of the hydrophobic type correspond to the top of the vertebral column 12, in the middle of the back 13 and at the bottom of the back 14. The second zones 15, 16 of hydrophilic type correspond to the sidewalls and the hips. The location of the first zones is chosen to correspond, when wearing the garment, areas of the body that emit the most perspiration and / or in which the feeling of sweating is the most unpleasant, and conversely for the location of the second zones. The first zones of hydrophobic type are formed in a material absorbing little water, for example polypropylene. The second zones of hydrophilic type are formed in a more absorbent material, for example cotton. The hydrophobic and / or hydrophilic nature can be provided by localized treatment, for example application of a suitable chemical primer. During the practice of a sport, the sweat is conveyed via the channels 17,18,19,20,21,22 from the first to the second zones, which attenuates or eliminates the feeling of moisture that may have the wearer level of the first zones and thus improves the thermal comfort provided by the garment. It is possible to provide more hydrophilic materials for the channels than the hydrophilic materials of the second areas where the sweat is conveyed. In this way, the absorption capacity of the sweat by the channels being greater than that of said second zones 15,16, the sweat is thus removed to some extent from the skin at the zones 15,16.
There is shown in Figure 2 an example of channel 18 with the branches 18a, 18b. The sweat absorbed by the channel 18 and its two branches 18a, 18b, in the first zone 13 is conveyed to the two second zones 15, 16 by the two branches 18a, 18b. In FIG. 3, each channel 17 and 21 on the first zone 12 is in the form of a hollow half-cylinder having a longitudinal opening 30 towards the inside P of the garment 1. The convex portion of the channel 17 and 21, which absorbs sweat, gives on the outside of the garment, and is therefore not in contact with the skin P of the wearer; this arrangement helps to keep sweat away from the skin.
In Figure 4, there is shown another embodiment of a garment 22 short type sufficiently adjusted to be in contact with the skin. It comprises two first zones of hydrophobic type 25 and 26 corresponding to the crotch, from which extend two channels 27 and 28 arranged symmetrically with respect to the axis ZZ ', separately pumping the sweat and the carrier to route it to two second zones 23,24 of hydrophilic type corresponding to the outer sides of the legs. Often during exercise or simply walking long enough, the friction generated in the crotch is particularly troublesome or painful; perspiration only accentuates this phenomenon. It is known to wear tight or even tight clothing, for example cyclist type cycling, which certainly remove friction but do not treat perspiration. The channels 27 and 28 by removing the sweat from the skin and by conveying it to the said second zones, not subject to friction, thus make it possible to solve the aforementioned problem. 3o The outer dimension of the channels represented on the garments 1 and 22 is between 2 mm and 12 mm and preferably equal to 6 mm. The length of the channels, generally between 10 cm and 30 cm, depends on the desired aesthetics and the distance between the first and second zones. The longitudinal opening 30 of the channel may be totally or partially closed by floats, in particular formed by hydrophilic threads. The presence of such floats allows in particular to form the channel during the knitting of a panel. In this case, the floats are elastic yarns and are knitted under tension, so that when the knitted panel is in the relaxed state, the retraction of floats causes the deformation of the mesh columns 1 o which are linked between their ends. and it is this deformation that creates the convex configuration of the channel. Other ways are possible for forming the channel, for example by thermoforming, or by relating said channel as an insert between two panels, or possibly by gluing.
20The first and second zones may be attached to the garment or may be separated by intervening zones which have an absorption capacity of the water intermediate between those of the first and second zones. 20
