Procédé de fabrication d'un panneau (1), notamment destiné à la conception d'un revêtement de sol, comportant au moins une âme (2) à base de bois, en particulier issue d'un panneau dérivé bois de type HDF ou MDF ou en particules de matériaux recyclés, recevant, sur sa face supérieure (9), au moins une feuille de revêtement décoratif (3) et au moins une feuille d'overlay (4), et, sur sa face inférieure (10), au moins une feuille de balance (5) et au moins une sous-couche (6) isolante caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à : - faire adhérer la feuille de balance (5) à la sous-couche (6) isolante en vue de réaliser une planche (7) d'une rigidité améliorée; - à déposer ladite planche (7) sur des moyens support (8) - à y déposer successivement, en outre et non limitativement, l'âme (2) à base de bois, la feuille décorative (3) et la feuille d'overlay (4); - à saisir l'ensemble formé par ces dites couches pour le déposer sous l'unité de pressage; - presser ledit ensemble de couches.  1.
